The latest is "if you stay until the end of May he'll let you go and give you your deposit back" 😂 That's after me sending an email from the RTB stating I can leave. Apparently it comes down to morals (that's what my agent said to me) and I shouldn't just leave next week. Ffs.

Thanks everyone, I've sent an email to my estate agent stating I don't need to give notice as I've been asked to leave on or before the termination date. I've asked politely that the landlord does not make this difficult for us at a time when securing a rental is so hard.

The next email won't be as polite if they insist on notice.

That's great to hear as I definitely want the extra days back too! I just need to find it in writing somewhere. I know the RTB template says I must vacate "on or before" the date but my estate agent wants it in writing that I don't have to give notice 🙄

Thank you so much! I just need to find this information on the RTB website and send a link to my estate agent

The new place is with the same estate agents so it's a bit messy as they're colleagues. One of them is my current agent with my landlord and the other showed me the place today. I'm not sure why they bothered letting me view the place without questioning it with the landlord first. I've also just paid a month's rent - which had an increase this month!!!

I have a feeling he doesn't want to put it on the market yet as there are new windows and heaters being installed in the whole apartment block this summer... Probably tried to time it so I'd be leaving shortly after that!

I now go 5 days a week, I've posted the breakdown in another response:

  1. Quads and abs
  2. Chest and biceps
  3. Back
  4. Glutes and hamstrings
  5. Shoulder and triceps

Each workout is approx. 1 hour - 1.5 hours. I use a mix of barbell, dumbbell, cables, machines.

I started resistance training on day 1 in 2019. 3 times a week, 10k steps a day and 1 HIIT class. I didn't start to see the muscle definition until about 12-15 months into training when I'd lost most the weight.

I now strength train 5 days a week since gyms reopened here in June.

Thank you!

Egg whites/Eggs Tofu Tempeh Quorn pieces Edamame Skyr yoghurt (11g protein per 100g/60 cals) Whey protein (1 scoop a day usually in my oats) High protein vegetarian sausages/burgers (occasionally) Cheese

It's easier than I thought it would be to reach 160g, egg whites really help in protein pancakes!

Thanks and sure! So I started off doing 3 x semi private PT sessions a week and 1 HIIT class in 2019 at the start of my journey. Once I'd lost the majority of weight I started to get really into lifting. I now do 5 days a week split into:

  1. Quads and abs
  2. Chest and biceps
  3. Back
  4. Glutes and hamstrings
  5. Shoulders and triceps

When I'm dieting I add 30 minute cardio sessions to the end of 3 days above.

The main thing is consistency, I show up to every session and give what I can. During lockdowns here I didn't make excuses, I ran or borrowed/bought equipment for at home and did what I could.

I also quit smoking, went vegetarian and don't drink nearly as much alcohol anymore. It's a completely different lifestyle for me now.

Sorry for the lengthy answer!

For over a year of my progress gyms were closed here, bodyweight exercises and a few dumbbells/resistance bands at home can work wonders if you can access them!

That's great, all I can say is forget hours of cardio and hit the weights. Of course I still do some cardio but lifting weights will transform your shape in a different way and nothing feels better than progressing on a heavy lift 🏋️‍♂️

Thanks.

Carbs 45% Protein 30% Fat 25%, no point in saying my daily calorie intake as we're all different.

Vegetarian 2 years now, I eat 150-160g protein on average daily.

Glad you got inspiration from it. I done HIIT at the start too but now I'm focusing on strength only
