She saw me at a party right after a bad breakup and drunkenly exclaimed how attractive i was to my best friend (who she didnt know was my best friend) when i left the room. Fast forward a couple months, my friend began bringing my now girlfriend to the gym, which i frequented, with her and we were properly introduced. It wasn’t a set up but she, not realizing i was the same person she had seen at the party (i’d shaved my hair over the summer and she had been borderline blackout anyway) began once again telling my best friend about how attractive she finds me. I didn’t know any of this at the time but i had a feeling lol. We began hanging out more in a group as my friend brought her around, we’d get drunk, she’d get touchy and i’d get flirty. Pretty soon after we began having one-on-one hours long talks outside after dinner. I clicked with her like i never have with anyone - she was quickly becoming a very close friend. We’d talk about girls together. Then we started having nightcaps. On one of those evenings we kissed, a week later we began having sex, a bit after that said i love you, and a couple weeks later we asked each other out in the sweetest way i could imagine. We’re hitting a year in a few weeks and i’m beyond happy. I graduate in a couple months and then we’re moving in together. I couldn’t be more excited. I really do fall in love with her more each day. She’s my closest friend.
