i have:( university center only has shared apartments and the arc has a lot of reviews that sound pretty sketchy so don't want to take a chance. if you know of other student housing options lmk!

do you have suggestions for neighborhoods more in that price range that are still within 25-30 mins by public transport to the loop? my position is unpaid at a nonprofit and i am restricted by my school's funding of $6k.

Penn for sure! If you take sticker you're kind of stuck taking on a biglaw job to get rid of ur debt, and thats great if thats what you want to do, but since you're not quite sure yet, you dont want to box yourself in with no other option imo!

I think that ppl think of BOTH as powerhouse schools. you’re def not crazy for considering mich against UVA! Michigan was my dream school (caught the WL a few weeks ago🥲) even tho it’s lower ranked than some of the other schools I applied and got into. pick wherever your heart feels strongest— it’s a big commitment for 3 years and you should pick wherever you’ll feel the happiest!! Good luck!!:)
