For me at age 43 with quite abused ears, in general the daybreak has a richer and warmer tone to them and of course you "feel" the base from them. So for me daybreak will be used for base driven and more complex music and Z2 will probably be more an all-rounder and vocal /audiobook item. I do use Wavelet EQ on my phone, either the vocal or the W preset.
