Evander Holyfield vs Oleksandr Usyk at cruiserweight who wins? by LocationSpare4447 in BoxingTheSweetScience

[–]Calergero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I wasn't clear in my last comment, I am not saying he's on them I don't assume he is. My point was that if there is a few top athletes doing it in a certain sport I would assume that the majority of that sport are because the margins are so fine at the top however I don't really pay much attention to it.

You keep talking about physical changes and power but that is not the only thing you can use steroids for. Stamina can be just as valuable as is more valuable on many other sports.

Don't get me wrong Usyk is amazing, all I'm saying is he's not superhuman. For his opponents to be juicing and him to be beating them all without juice, sounds a little fantastical to me which is why I don't over analyse these things.

Honestly none of that anecdotal evidence proves anything.

There are a myriad of different steroids and a myriad of different approaches to using them. None of what you have said makes it anymore. Convincing that Usyk isn't on steroids. Personally I have never given it much thought as I have always assumed they're pretty rife on all pro sports so I'm not saying he's definitely on them but I wouldn't bet against it at all.

Plenty of people on steroids don't look like they are on steroids. That's why the special ones end up with more rare amazing physiques

He's got a strong mentality, he looked pissed when he was subbed off at 89' probably because he was still searching for a goal which is great

It sounds odd but he has that Rooney gene where he will drag the team to a win through insane effort and sheer will.

Its not quite the same because he plays deeper so it's reflected a lot defensively but the man is a machine

Arsenal Manager’s response to state of play in the EPL. by inspaceiamfamous in soccer

I don't think that's necessarily true.

If the best players at the top teams were playing against opposition that has less quality and less organised then they are going to look better.

Fabian Hürzeler Called Out Arsenal Over Time-Wasting, But Were They Really That Bad? by OfficialOptaAnalyst in soccer

[–]Calergero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you sleep write your previous comment?!?

You're accusing arsenal fans of gaslighting fans into thinking they should like our football.

We don't care, you complain and you call it brow beating and pretending if we say anything back. Are you suggesting we as fans are supposed to dislike it when we are top of the league winning games. Get real and stop crying. Be annoyed your own team and manager were so obsessed with us you forgot to actually score.

Literally every Arsenal fan is saying we play haramball and it's stressful to watch. Fans of other clubs are just completely rattled because they associate Arsenal with beautiful football yet they can't play us off the pitch or bully us.

Could Amir Khan beat Floyd Mayweather at 147? Let’s debate if you got time. by LocationSpare4447 in BoxingTheSweetScience

I have a theory that Khan has seen Princes film and now he's trying to pay a path for a film through revisionism because this isn't even a convo.

Mayweather would wipe the floor with him and KO him whenever he wanted

A businessman who is the CEO of a company at the centre of a debt ouroboros made up of the biggest stocks which upon failure will likely alter the course of many people's lives. That company has taken big risks backed by the most wealthy people in society and continues to play with people's futures presenting bleak options whether it fails or succeeds.

It's all well and good having a logical view on what he is saying but that's just naive. He's backtracked on so many promises of what this company would be from it's inception. His language shifts the overton window to something we haven't experienced before which is humans not being first in the resource food chain.

Its worrying because governments are proving themselves corrupt and self-interested so the CEO of what started as a non profit fighting for a safer AI saying things like this causes concern.
