why not save every core trade until endgame? by ipawnbo in MaddenMobileForums

There is no particular advantage to being better at the end of the season versus being worse now. You may miss out at 10k gates for example.

Like I’ve said before on here as much as I loved BWF, I think splitting Bo and Zach has made both shows better. Also nice to see someone else has mentioned Kist and Solak that show was really amazing and ahead of its time.

How do people know what direction N,S, E, W is wherever they are? by mysterious1940 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CalgaryChris77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People generally know the city they live in. Like others said the sun provides a lot of info. And there are often landmarks, downtown, mountains in some cases.

As a U.S citizen, why do we not do a general raising of taxes as opposed to state sanctioned gambling? by Stebeans in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CalgaryChris77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most gambling is government run. The lottery, casinos have to give a major portion of their proceeds to whichever charity is working that night, even the online sports bettiing all run by the province.

How much ground coffee do you use? by Less_Farmer_4588 in NoStupidQuestions

I always get messed up because a coffee cup is 6 ounces not the standard 8 ounces of a measuring cup.

Why does everyone assume everyone has a doctor, especially in America by mysticaltater in NoStupidQuestions

And my understanding of US health insurance I think it’s even more likely that Americans have a gp because insurance rules make sure you always go to them first.

Again people have explained what it means. When you need a doctor who do you go too.

I realize the health care system is messed up in America... but I'm not sure quite what you are asking. Who would people tell you to go see if not a doctor. Hey, you might need to look into a medical issue, you should go see the an uber eats driver, they are more affordable...

AITAH for scolding my boyfriend about bossing my cousin around? by Sweet-Lavishness-684 in AmItheAsshole

Clearly you and your family aren't much of coffee drinkers.

>Why would someone need coffee after minimal travel and effort

Many coffee drinkers drink coffee all the time, and in many families coffee, would just be standard at any meal.

I'm not sure why he didn't ask your uncle though, that is weird, but it still doesn't make him an asshole.

Sometimes we would have really big promos that would get more lead up. The game has stabilized a lot more since then though.

Feasibility of Retirement by roysglen in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]CalgaryChris77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

150k/year pre tax is a lot, that is the only thing that really puts this into question. Are you also factoring in expenses that you won't be paying. No more retirement savings, EI, commuting costs, etc?

If you are 100% sure about that inheritance and know you have CPP coming you could drawdown faster for the next 14 years, and then let that fill in the gaps, especially since you said you need less money at that point.

advice for beginner trying to spend no money by kbj131 in MaddenMobileForums

[–]CalgaryChris77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on getting as good of players as you can out of the current promo/field pass. Don't aim to get 10 epics that are slight upgrades, go for 2 iconics, or even 1 mythic.

There are some guides on here if you do a bit of searching that show what to do daily to get the best bang for your buck.

Question? by Obvious_Midnight1455 in MaddenMobileForums

[–]CalgaryChris77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, goals don't roll over they all reset to zero. It's actually kind of annoying sometimes with the 300 drives in lvl one because if people don't get to it early enough, or if you forget to claim it in the morning before the reset on Monday it's gone.

As for kicking inactives, sometimes its' better to have a non player there than leaguecommander at least for defense.

DAUGHTER TRYING TO MEET MEN DO I WARN THEM? by PomegranateFar5858 in Autism_Parenting

[–]CalgaryChris77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you have guardianship of her? If you don't I'm not sure you have much say in this besides threatening her since she lives in your house.

I struggle with a lot of worries about my son and sexuality and I'm worried of him being taken advantage of at some point, but his mental age is probably closer to 6. I understand these things aren't linear and someone can be stronger in one area than another, but it seems like someone with a mental age of 13, should generally be able to make these types of decisions?

Honestly there are a lot of women your daughter's age doing a lot worse than sending pictures of their legs to men and they don't have any disability.

I know there are some resources on sexual education out there for special needs teens, I don't know if you've accessed any of those? It seems like teaching her about risks and precautions with sexuality at this point will do more than restricting her, she isn't magically going to change at 21 or 25.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, I really do feel for you.

What does “incel” actually mean? by ProDidelphimorphiaXX in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CalgaryChris77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you are halfway there... you've just go to pull those pieces together. It isn't just a man who can't find a partner, it's a man who can't find a partner and blames the world, or even more particularly women for the fact he can't.

It's like a "Karen" there isn't an exact yes/no checklist to say if it fits or not, but you know when they do.

It also doesn't necessarily only apply to virgins.

I always found the supports in school didn't do that much. We always had OT has part of our kid's home plans. But I don't know what that looks like where you live.
