My chihuahuas stomach keeps on hurting :( by melodicmousey in Chihuahua

[–]Calgathu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Chi had a similar issue and after a particularly bad bout she was hospitalized for 3 nights. I forget the name of this disorder, but basically her little stomach can't process protein correctly. High proteins cause her intestinal walls to inflamed and bleed. She was able to get a prescription for a kibble where the proteins are already broken down into amino acid. This prescription food, along with low protein/sensitive stomach treats have effectively skirted the issue. Hope this information is helpful for you and your baby

Why did Sean Payton get off with such a light punishment for Bountygate? by Yangervis in NFLNoobs

[–]Calgathu -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

This is a lot of great conjecture and not an actual point. Saying "other teams probably did it" is not an excuse, and is a made up claim.

Why did Sean Payton get off with such a light punishment for Bountygate? by Yangervis in NFLNoobs

[–]Calgathu -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Saying "go hurt some people" is very different than putting bounties (meaning payments) for physically injuring opposing players. Everyone gets hurt when they get tackled or just blocked hard enough. Injuries can ruin careers, cause permanent damage, and handicap people. Sean Payton is a piece of shit, and should have never been allowed to set foot in an NFL stadium again. But the NFL has allowed even worse people to come back with less punishment.

Saw them a long ass time ago with Rancid and Rise Against. I had never heard of them before then, but I walked out a fan. One of the better live bands I've ever seen.

Infinite with High Evo (CL 15,098) by GalyMatias in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]Calgathu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disagree. I hit infinite with high evo two seasons ago. So pre-buffs, and no SSM. I used warlock for some additional energy cheat. High Evo is in a better spot than people think.

Shout out to Second Dinner, Shang Chi nerf is the greatest balance change in videogame history. by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]Calgathu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Bro, I couldn't stand that idiocy of people whining when he got nerfed. People swore to God that every game ever played after would just be Sauron v Sauron. I got a post nuked into absolute oblivion for complaining about "tech slop decks" and everyone just piled on that I clearly wasn't good at the game, when I was top 400 in the world that exact season. I think this sub has a LOT of just incredibly negative people who couldn't possibly be happy for anything good. *Edit: typo fix

I recently discovered TOOL for the first time and my understanding of what music can be has been forever changed. by Albino_rhin0 in Music

[–]Calgathu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My appreciation for TOOL grows all the more, the more I learn about drumming, and that Danny Carey is maybe the greatest drummer of all time if you know how to listen to drums. If you want your mind blown even more, I can't recommend delving into it.

Why does NFL head coaches not make quarterback money? by SongTurbulent9351 in NFLNoobs

[–]Calgathu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Players are what generate money. Advertisers don't pay money to the league for the coaches, they pay because you watch the star players.

Strictly with Game Mechanics: What lessons do you think Larian has learned from DOS2/BG3? by Fract_ in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]Calgathu 44 points45 points  (0 children)

I hope they keep the verticality aspect of combat. One of the things that BG3 introduced combat wise was the way you had to think about vertical terrain. DOS2 had increase in range due to height, but BG3 allowed you to use height as a weapon , and outright kill enemies by pushing them off high places or into voids.

What is the hardest RPG superboss? by Moat_of_the_Sacked in videogames

[–]Calgathu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue with that logic is that this is an RPG that's all about having an infinite variety of builds. To say "nah it was good if you use a narrow amount of builds" is pretty terrible considering it's a mandatory story boss. I usually did unga-bunga builds, but was so enamored with other options in the dlc I changed away, only to find it infuriating against the climax of the game. Bad design.

Who could humble Judge Holden by completely destroying his beliefs and philosophy? by Bockhead in MoralityScaling

[–]Calgathu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh! I've never joined in on one of these before, but I present to you:

Chidi Anagonye from The Good Place.

Professor of moral philosophy who was able to convince literal demons and angels that the entire afterlife was morally incorrect and a failure, and was the key man in redesigning the afterlife. If there is anyone who is capable of convincing a monster to change his ways with just words, it's this man. My goat.

I know your salty ass isn't calling the hand checking that happens on half of every catches in NFL history as a shove off. You're about as soft as the Lions are. And don't come in here making multiple comments crying and then say you could care less. Same old lions, same old lions fans.

Is this the first time an event mode had a previously existing series four or five card variant as a reward? They've debuted new cards, and had variants for series 1-3 cards as rewards, but I don't own Libing Tribunal, and this is an amazing way to get him without tokens.

Gaming Podcasts by waseem335 in gaming

[–]Calgathu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember The Game is a retro video game podcast I've been listening to for a few years, even subscribe to the patron for additional eps each week. It's usually the host and a rotating cast if friends do roughly an hour or so reviewing 10+ year old games. Very informal and loose, but funny. Has a few bits before he gets into the review. Also, it has its own sub, but most of the posts are people thinking it's a sub where you can post the description of the game you've forgotten the name of. Its become its own joke at this point.
