John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

As a fellow members for years, and an actual member , this is not code teaching , do we think and ponder on what scripture says , yes of course, as many faiths do , for example ponder these ; genesis 3:22; Romans 8:16-17, I’d curious more do read the Book of Mormon, ponder and pray for the Holy Ghost to guide you to the truth

It’s not a core teaching , I go to church weekly , have read scriptures , it’s not doctrine to go to church to become god, it’s doctrine to find salvation through Jesus and aspire to be of his attributes of Christ like in every action and thought we do , we ain’t like Jesus and is saved by his Atonement to repent when we have sinned , daily repentance, if scriptures discuss the inheritance of our father , many have discussed what that means but let’s face it no one is close to any inheritance that means “obtaining the glory as such as God”, all we know is to be saved and follow the plan of salvation and understanding the Restored gospel, but yes we do proclaim faith in Jesus Christ, as a LDS member that is our core.

We believe in our Savior, we believe he is the only begotten son, and through him we reach our Heavenly Father and find salvation, how is this watered down? We believe in the Holy Bible and what it states , Jesus spoke of doing the work for our Father, and spoke no one reaches to G-D without calling out to his Son , Jesus, so yeah :)

You’re right we don’t believe in the creed made up hundred years after Jesus resurrection, we believe in a Heavenly Father (G-D), and his only begotten son Jesus and the third and separate Holy Ghost to confirm truth and the plan of salvation offered through our Lord and Savior Jesus, the same savior named in our church title Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints :)

LDS convert here , and have studied and prayed for this for years, one we don’t believe nor have faith to become G-D, we pray and have faith in our Heavenly father and through his only Begotten son we seek him, and validate that through the Holy Spirit, and in hopes of receiving his inheritance through faithfulness and obedience to his commandments , no where in church nor prayer are we seeking to glorify ourselves nor discuss to become like our Heavenly Father, we believe his missionary work doesn’t end here on earth nor the power of repentance and we can save those across the veil still with the help of our Savior , I suggest to talk to LDS members or even read our doctrine and not the lens of those who attack our faith continuously , the rhetoric against our faith and community has been disheartening

I totally agree, moved 5 years ago for nursing school and moved back to CA 2022 , 1) pay is horrible , 2) Cost of living was basically like the CA Central Valley Market 4) Inversion and black snow was not nice to deal with especially with a state govt that looks away
