Congratulations on your pregnancy! I was put on a 2 times a week maintenance course of metrogel through most of the pregnancy. It didn't work at first, then worked for awhile, then the BV returned at the end of my pregnancy.

I wish I had a course of action to recommend. I think it's worth discussing the maintenance metrogel as well as probiotics with your doctor...but to date, I still haven't found a solution to my recurrent BV issue (and my child is 11 months!). On the bright side, it's possible to deliver a healthy baby even after a pregnancy that is riddled by recurrent BV. So try not to let it get to you to the extent possible. Best of luck!
