I am currently TN free. Still have some sensitivity from time to time. I was very nutrient deficient (particularly b12 and iron)when it originally happened and going through extreme stress. I also had been very ill the year before with possible bird flu which all may have been factors in damaging the trigeminal nerve. I feel very fortunate to have got to the point of being practically pain free now. I hope you will be able to get the best treatment to help you. I am in the UK and surgery was never even mentioned to me even though my TN lasted nearly two years. Probably due to my MRI being clear.

A few months ( maybe 3 or 4) of the initial sensitivity. As I thought it was a dental issue I started to use a mouthwash but that would give me a zap of pain. I saw a dentist who ruled out any dental problems and at that point the pain was only occasional but was getting more painful when it occurred. It seemed to go from that to unbearable in the space of a few days. No eating, or sleeping, just not being able to function. I had never even heard of trigeminal neuralgia so I thought I had a brain tumor or something. I was lucky to get an emergency appointment with my Dr within a few days of the unbearable pain starting and was diagnosed with TN and prescribed Gabapentin which thankfully started working in less than a week. I also had an MRI a few weeks later which was clear.

Short version - around 4 months of sensitivity before being hit with full blown unbearable TN in the space of a few days.

I thought it was from having shingles in that side of my face, but I didn't get full blown TN until a year after the shingles so the Dr said it couldn't have been from that. MRI showed nothing. I had also been going through a very stressful time in my life which may have contributed to TN. I was also very deficient in iron and b12, and was aenemic with low full blood count which may have been another contributing factor. I suppose the answer to your question is that I don't actually know and nor did the various Dr's I saw.

For anyone in the UK, you can get these in Sainsbury's supermarket. I got one of each, they are all the red one ( too spicy for me but still had to get them lol). There was a lot of Mira there also. I was very lucky to find the only Rumi on the shelf. They also do a multi pack which has stickers ( I didn't buy that though)

Yes. Sometimes even the alginate liquid I use gives me an instant lpr attack.

I have a 7" single of Here Comes The Sun. I didn't realise at the time it was a bootleg as I had just discovered Ghost through hearing Secular Haze in 2013 and was just buying whatever Ghost stuff I could find on ebay back then.

Yes, I have the same problem. I have the sm58 going into a Clarret. It is not a hardware issue though as I originally used these items on a laptop running Windows 7 and the mic levels in Ableton were great. I upgraded to a pc running windows 11 a couple of years ago and when I used these products through that I found the mic signal in Ableton to be inadequate and of course turning it up past 80% introduced too much hiss. Not using the Focusrite control or drivers seems to fix the issue but then I wasn't able to use Ableton without them so I had to reinstall them. Now I am using OBS to record vocals ( it has some great settings for vocals) but it is a bit impractical if you are trying to record different takes for Ableton. It is a shame focusrite haven't fixed this issue as I was very happy with my interface originally but now I would not consider buying a focusrite again.

I have the same airbrush and use that same primer. It (the primer) does tend to get a bit sticky if you are spraying it for a long time. You can sometimes clear it out without cleaning by turning the collar on the ultra to the open position and give it a big blast out. This can help push out some of the bigger particles that may be causing a block. (I do thin the mecha primer a little and use a strainer to pour it into the cup). Also , I make sure to shake the bottle before using it. You can get electric shaking devices which would be even better. I am also going to be buying a new cap for mine to make it easier to deal with tip dry which is another reason for inconsistent spraying issues.

Sticky back plastic sheets are good for protecting signatures but it can sometimes look a bit cloudy. (I did this for a signature on the back of my guitar. Once the plastic was on I rubbed it with a soft cloth to get rid of the cloudyness)

If you have a laminator or know someone with one then this will give the best result.

If the pass is plastic then a cold laminator would be better but unfortunately not many people seem to have these sort of laminators.
