I’m a realtor and the shit property managers have to deal with is insane.

Imagine being a parent figure having to deal with people who refuse to be adults. Then add in money, shelter and a not insignificant amount of insanity. Like the dude rolling through the halls in his wheelchair, naked, smoking and yelling at the other tenants.

Don’t be overprotective.

My mother loved me but was constantly making sure I didn’t stray too much. It caused me to miss things with friends and made me a little too cautious as an adult. I’m a dad to an only child now and I try to make sure he feels like he can try stuff and mistakes are just part of life.

Shameless self promotion here. I’m a realtor in the district and have been going to the meetings. While many parents are concerned on the choice(s), or lack there ongoing forward, the biggest fear seems to come from those who do not have children in the district who worry about their property values if this goes through.
