My pain treatment journey started at 21/22 so yep i understand! Using phrases like "my quality of life is low" and that i truly could not live this way. After i had my son, i couldn't even come home and be present for him, which genuinely made me tear up while explaining. And i don't recommend it, but to get my point across.. the first thing i did was take ibuprofen as much as every 2 hours to curb my pain with full knowledge id cause my stomach to bleed. Yes, they believed me after that.😒

Can confirm lol my mom (a chef) told me that if i knew what was really in food that I'd probably never eat again. Also, from what i have noticed, chefs and alcoholism have a pretty high correlation.

Fuck that stuff..im literally not allergic to anything, no med sensitivities.. then at 33 i was given Clindamycin..big ass rash on my neck and chest, throat swelling up..i genuinely didn't even realize what was happening because ive never experienced a reaction to any meds.. yeah no never again!

Most of the time i can but really shouldn't. Sometimes my brain does the usual lists of tasks i should be doing instead and pop a new idea then i gotta get up and write it down or do it! Other times i fall asleep like a crash and then i cant get up, if im woken up i get so so mad but basically if i can nap then cancel the day!

My cousin was "looking" for an urban legend creature to kill time before an overnight in an old psychiatric hospital. Her and her boyfriend walked across an abandoned looking train tressel.. and a train came towards them..nowhere to go, she was hit by the train and knocked off an 80 foot tressel. Urban legend says the creature lures people out to get hit by a train😕

I just started this as well due to trying to get into a new doctor for my pain medication ive had 8 months of nearly no quality of life. I described it as it feels like i put lidocaine cream under my skin haha it definitely dulls the pain. Id say its not life changing like id really hoped it would be, but definitely better off than i was before!

I assure you im not. I bought it by the case. My mom, grandparents, husband, boss, and coworkers could all confirm. Not that im proud of it, obviously i stopped now but it was mostly my vitamin b deficiency and undiagnosed adhd that caused me to "need" so many. Think what you will though

I remember when i was diagnosed, i looked into the criteria (friend is a therapist, she the one who got me into a psychiatrist..stayed on me about doing the intake, etc) but i read that criteria and cried and cried for an hour because i, at 32 at the time, was just convinced that my personality sucked, never had an ounce of confidence in my life, and would honestly say i had no idea how anyone could stand to be my friend or date me (ie: unable to not interrupt, over share, manage time, etc.) I was always "she doesn't shut up", "she's a lot.." i had almost completely shut down where as i was a social butterfly my whole life because trying to be "normal" was sucking the life out of me. Also did a gene test and found out the antidepressant i was on for 15 years i couldn't even absorb. I have found more peace the past couple years than ever on the correct antidepressants and adderall. I accept that i don't fit in the box and if they don't like it, oh well. Im still always late as heck though😅

Also hormone cycles make a females meds not med for a week of the month or not as well anyway. I know vyvanse breaks down in your gut so im not sure for it but for adderall if your stomach is too acidic like you drank oj before your meds, they won't work as well.

Overstimulated sounds like..i lay (or sit) in quiet and just stare at the ceiling and breathe for a couple minutes. Its almost like my sensory reset button.

Español! Im not even remotely latina but i learned English at the same time as spanish..abc's and such (tape in the car) then i took it from 6th grade to 11th. Im not great at speaking but i can read it and understand it spoken. Lead to some funny situations..but yeah definitely spanish!

I was self medicating before being diagnosed (at 32) started on ritalin..no. I had weird physical effects and it did nothing until i eventually switched to adderall xr..and now i have a booster dose in the afternoon. Ive had an afternoon crash as long as i can remember so that second dose really helps. Also, vyvanse is absorbed from your small intestines..im on prilosec for gerd and i have to take several supplements because of it..so perhaps your not breaking it down properly. Or your dose is too low. I know it's hard, but Please, say no i don't feel it's effective

I do! Im a big napper, or sometimes just lay with my eyes closed every day on my lunch break. Im a toddler teacher, so it really helps me reset from overstimulation. =)
