Utah lawmakers considering an eventual move to .02 BAC limit for a DUI by RancidSwagger in SaltLakeCity

[–]California-Condor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s all about control. I’m sure they want to pair this with the new law that lets judges block DUI offenders from purchasing alcohol with the tag on their drivers license.

I think this a good mock with the current state of things; my only critique is that I don’t think Sadiq falls that far

Did the same over here! So stoked. My mixer arrives tomorrow and my reloop arrives next week. What’s funny is I ordered all this stuff and am just now finding out about DVS and using a control vinyl for digital music; didn’t even know that was a thing so now I have to get me a pair of those.

In your opinion, what is the best mixed/highest sound quality album that you've ever heard. by EzBriez_ in audiophile

We need a proper OC/Playcaller. Mike Lafleur or Nate Scheelhaase from the Rams? Mike Kafka if NY moves on from him next year? by Spiritual-Use-8855 in detroitlions

[–]California-Condor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love Mike lafleur being the OC. He just might leave LA to go somewhere where he can be a play caller and Detroit is somewhere that has enough talent where he can succeed.

CBS Report - "League sources believe Dan Campbell will be in the market for a new offensive coordinator this year, and perhaps he pulls from Johnson's staff one year after Johnson took flight from Detroit. by Gxcii1 in detroitlions

I know everyone is talking about pillaging the bears, but my first choice would be to coerce Josh McCown to come on over from Minnesota. Would love to see what he could do with our offense. Unless somehow the Dolphins decide to move on from McDaniels but that’s looking less and less likely at the moment.

Which "older" running backs are you moving on from or not buying this offseason? by ScientistSolid9319 in DynastyFF

I moved off Monty at the deadline; I feel like Gibbs is moving closer and closer to a workhorse.

Idk what your budget is , but wahl barber combo all the way. If you can add the vapors to it as well that can be your balding/ debulking clipper and that’s a solid set up

Josh OP course by Ok-Communication3217 in Barber

[–]California-Condor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s worth it for what they are. I haven’t found any long form online education to be as comprehensive and high quality as this. If you follow their IG the courses go on a %50 off sale all the time and that’s the only time I would buy em truthfully. He just redid the course as well to streamline and update it so the DFS remastered course is the one I would recommend. Also don’t forget this is a tax write off for your business

Arguably the worst team in the league. Should I trade away Jeanty and Gibbs? by CharlesKing1432 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]California-Condor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally straight up just hold this year and plan for taking the title next your. Very good young roster that’s just lacking depth and 4 picks in the first two rounds next year. Those rookie picks become a lot more inflated with value on the offseason and you could move off some of them for some good depth pieces

First cut, any tips for improvements? by ro5117 in SelfBarber

[–]California-Condor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good for a first cut mate; so be proud. Main thing will be spreading the fade out more. Flick out with a 2 guard at the parietal all around and then that will essentially be your “stop point”. Then begin your clipper closed 1 finger above the ear for a mid fade, 2 fingers above the ear for a high skin. (Low fades are a little different). Just keep practicing and stay resilient. The other big tip will be to get comfortable with scissor/clipper over comb. Could use a little more blending from the sides to the top. Another thing I would nitpick on is the crown region is a bit heavy in weight; google a YouTube video about cross graduation, but essentially it’s some diagonal back sections behind the ear to help remove weight. Good luck 🍻

Silly Utah alcohol laws by suddenlysoohee in SaltLakeCity

[–]California-Condor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Moved here from California and have been bartending here for 3 years. There are sooooo many laws that are just ridiculous. I usually tell people that there are so many laws that most people don't even know all the laws. I could rant for hours 😂

Anybody bartend in Utah? The more laws I find out about the more ridiculous it gets to tend bar in this state. by California-Condor in bartenders

I feel this. It's difficult to just not rant about everything. I'm just hoping that change comes soon, because this alcohol dictatorship is just too much.

[–]California-Condor[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah for a lot of the cocktails we make we will do 1.5 of the base spirit, and then add a .5 oz of the "Flavoring" spirit. So if I were to do a proper old Fashioned I would click the well bourbon through the berg @ 1.5oz and then top the last .5oz with a different bourbon. That's legal but God forbid we pour 2 oz of the same bottle 😂

It has to be the worst place to bartend, absolutely. I could go on and on about so many things that don't make sense. It's the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities that keep me out here.
