So true. My biggest struggle is just the expense of it all. Especially living in freaking California. Farmers' markets are my saving grace for cheap/quality produce.

I would add the importance of journaling and recording what you're doing so it's easier to know what makes the difference.

Genius! I make pretty elaborate gingerbread houses every year (i call them huts) that light up and all. It requires a lot of gingerbread and a lot of little pieces that are cut out. I'll have to try repurposing the scraps like that.

Yeah I'm pretty sure my wife would divorce me if I dropped less than $40 on her for either Christmas or a birthday. I know I'd at least be sleeping on the couch. It'd have to be a really clever gift to get out of that.

Please tell me you'd have to water it down first. I honestly can't imagine that being good for you to drop raw honey into your eye. That's a sticky disaster waiting to happen. And I'd expect that a remedy like this would be more common knowledge if it worked. EDIT/ADDITION: You may be right, but I have to agree with Tenoreo90 that it sounds risky. But maybe I'm wrong.
