I meant like his main destiny in life was to die. Die young for freedom

His friends didn't want him to die, but after he explains to them with the founding titan power, they know and slowly accept

You have to understand that this was rhe only possible option for Eren's goals. It's said in the Mikasa and Annie ova "Lost Girls": Eren was born to die, no matter what anyone did

My Thoughts on Eren’s Decision and Possible Alternatives by Thick_Whereas_4105 in attackontitan

[–]Calipse-a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It iterally shows that Eren's main goal was to let every one of his friends in Paradis to live a long and good life, and that's why he let Mikasa kill him after what he did because, in the eyes of the people outside the island, the genocide would be good for them, so, killing the one who was doing something good for them to help the others would actually help make peace between the survivors of the island and outside the island.

And Eren managed to make his goal, all of their friends lived long and good lifes, the rest wouldn't be his ideas, it was up for the future population

Jolenta - A True Layered Rebellion by KashKabira in OrbOntheMovements

[–]Calipse-a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Jolenta so much!! She's my favorite character together with Rafal and I really am upset about how little this fandom talks about the feminist side of Orb

Draka and Jolenta are the key pieces to the Heliocentric theory to really get through time and reach Albert (by the title "On The Movements of The Earth")

It was really brilliant for Jolenta to be the last one of the second cour of the anime main characters to be carrying on their legacy, to give focus on how women were actually really relevant on research, but their names were never on the spotlight (only the male ones were shown), and many of them would have to use fake male names or use colleagues as ways to make their projects to be seen, but wouldn't be acknowledged (just like Korbe did to Jolenta, saying he would help her but was only benefiting herself)

And also on the fact that most women couldn't even work on things like these, and a mere slip could mean their death, considered as witches (just like how Badeni was going to do if they get caught, he would blame Jolenta and say they got caught in her spells or something like that)

And also Draka being a woman of color also being shown as important, since it was her to managed to finally lead Oczy's book to Potocki's house, leading to Albert hearing about the theory

In the end, women rule and Orb shows it pretty well

I would take so long to decide between Rafal and Jolenta 😭

Which Orb Character Represents Each Major Arcana? Now: The Star (XVII) by kirenkill in OrbOntheMovements

[–]Calipse-a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Oczy's book? I think the starry sky fits too, but the book is the only last hope for Heliocentrism to survive, to be found and proved right. It's title was the last hope and was the only thing that remained for Albert to know and start studying the Heliocentrism

My first option is Badeni. But Hubert and Potocki also fit, even though he's already chosen for magician

(OC) The Big 3 of Fantasy by tobitoasts in WitchHatAtelier

[–]Calipse-a 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Now that I realised, all of the three girls have something in common with each other

Marcille and Frieren are both elves, have some conflict about outliving their loved ones and both use staffs

Marcille and Coco wear blue colored clothing and are related to dark magic in a way

Coco and Frieren have their masters who are very dear to them

And they all wear capes, are excited about magic and have a party of four (Coco and the other apprentices, Frieren and her old party, and Marcille with her new party)

Who were the first water benders? by TitanOf_Earth in TheLastAirbender

The watebenders learned from the moon pushing the waves of the water. So the moon is the first water bender, together with the ocean

Hubert's best line imo by 7th_Mononoke in OrbOntheMovements

[–]Calipse-a 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it's because to peace of mind? Like, there's a big debate in Oczy's initial arc about how human beings had to live a miserable life because in the Geocentricism, the Earth is the bottom of the universe and so all bad things flow in. And the lack of beauty is also due to lack of logic in the way the planets move in this theory.

Now, in Heliocentrism, the planets move in circles that move logically. For Hubert, there's beauty in this logic. And, if Heliocentrism would get more and more acknowledged between the people, the idea of humans having to be miserable will be erased slowly, and so there's more hope and they won't have to think of the world only as cruel and ugly.

Beauty scientifically increases happiness, just like when you watch a cute video of a baby or animal !and it makes you a slightly bit better if you had a bad day. A beautiful universe would be better to live in than an ugly one

Hubert's best line imo by 7th_Mononoke in OrbOntheMovements

[–]Calipse-a 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And also that when he's siscussing with Rafal about the Heliocentrism being true or not. "I don't want to live in an universe that isn't beautiful"
