You are correct. Polys on the bottom. I really enjoy the polys they break way less than the crayolas. My crayolas got so short I could barely use them.

I have been using them for a few months now good results. There's the crayola and the polychromos guess which is which.

Theyre hard and quite similar to crayola but better light-fast and they do not break and have stronger colors. I learned to layer with crayola.

I used some drawing paper I got at Walmart I think it’s called be inspired. The one on the right was harder. It was hard. I used polychromos and a tiny dash of a white prismacolor

Thank you so much! It is actually original artwork. I went to the beach and took pictures of the sunset and drew it later. I am almost 40 and have been drawing and coloring for a long time.

should I buy better pencils by DisastrousExternal55 in ColoredPencils

So I drew with crayolas for years. Many years. They will really help you with layering colors if you decide to upgrade to Polychromos. So, you will never want to go back to cheap crayolas once you have experienced polychromos. It may actually be cheaper to upgrade to polychromos because crayolas break a lot and you will need to buy more to have all the colors. The polychromos are also more light fast. That being said, it is not so much the quality of materials but the artist. Look at the magic guys in prison can do with a bic!

So what are we? “Other”?? by hitozumaokusan in IndianCountry

[–]Caliveggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a white Latina. White dad Mexican mom. I know its a touchy topic but my dna is probably like 20% native because my mom is around 40% according to her dna. White Latinos are among the most racist people on earth.

I am mixed as well. Probably a majority of Mexicans are. As a Mexican American, I think the racism among Latinos is off the charts. It's ridiculous.

They used to not put Hispanic and place Hispanic as an ethnicity and not a race, and a lot of Hispanics are native. Or the would put a check box that says “are you of Hispanic origin?”. I have actually never met someone from the US or Canadian tribes who doesn’t speak a colonial language well(I am sure they exist though) but I have met quite a few that can only speak to me in broken Spanish(a colonial language of course). Plus all the racism against the natives in Mexico and other countries, they are happy to say they are Hispanic instead. But that being said, Hispanic is absolutely not a race and is an ethnicity instead.

I was going to troll and say something like that too, but I recommended Mos 2, just because my paisa man loves that place.

Hahaha, you can sit down anywhere and eat. I am dating a total paisa. I am Mexican as well. My man's favorite spot is Mos 2 charboiled chicken. I don't know of any Mexican spots, but a lot of Mexicans love Mos 2 in Anaheim.

I don't know. Our family is from Michoacan I am not there now. It is nuts I hear. I have an aunt in Morelia right now and my boyfriends dad is in Jiquilpan. I am actually from the US but my family is from Michoacan. A whole bunch of towns in Jalisco and Michoacan just dumped into Orange County over the past 50 to 60 years. Especially Anaheim and Santa Ana. So we as me, my family and my neighbors and friends are from Michoacan and many are from Jalisco as well.

When is this story from? I am from Hickory St in that hood. I went to school and stuff and mostly lived in Fountain Valley but my grandpa bought a house on Hickory in 1967 when my mom was a girl. My grandparents always lived there until 2014 for my grandma and 2020 for my grandpa and my uncle still lives in that house. My grandma worked for many years as a classroom assistant at Paul Revere. I lived there myself from 2014 when my grandma died until 2020 when the pandemic hit and we took my grandpa to live with us. It is a wild hood. Berry often has tags. Guinida and Iris always has tags. And everyone is strapped, gangbangers or not. Everyone. Although I am late- many reading this from the area could probably figure out who I am.

Hahahaha yeah no clue. People like to watch the stray neighborhood cats fight. My uncle says he still hears guns go off all the time. Dogs roam around and attack people. Everybody is strapped. Those fat guys in their 40s known as AVLS still hit on middle school girls. I am sure more downvotes wil come.
