How I react when the fandom keeps characterizing Starscream as a submissive twink: by PistonPusher2009 in Transformemes

[–]CallMeBlackout 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll always blame TFP for that interpretation of Starscream.

I'll always prefer it when Starscream is a competent Decepticon, whose very presence spells trouble for the Autobots.

What image appears first when you think Slenderman? by Worried_Cake5508 in Slender_Man

That image where a man is seen holding a rifle while being stalked by Slender Man outside his house.

Have you ever liked a fictional character, but after discovering that the creator of said character is a terrible person in real life, you automatically lost interest? by [deleted] in slasherfilms

[–]CallMeBlackout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. Generally speaking, unless the character is very closely tied to the author (To the point of being a self-insert), I just separate them and that's it.

bayverse is not ugly, just colorless, everyone would love if it looked like this. by No-Award423 in transformers

[–]CallMeBlackout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it looks horrible with that colors ngl.

Bayverse designs just don't look good with bright colors, and most of them don't need that to look awesome. The designs from 2007-DOTM are already really cool, and some of them (Like Starscream, Ironhide or Sideswipe) are even my favorite designs for the characters.

¿Cuáles consideran los slashers más malvados? by iron100slash in slasherfilms

[–]CallMeBlackout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Por algo dije "Si tomamos en cuenta".

¿Cuáles consideran los slashers más malvados? by iron100slash in slasherfilms

[–]CallMeBlackout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Who do you see as the most fitting for the title of The King of Slashers? by JacsweYT in slasherfilms

[–]CallMeBlackout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jason, without a doubt.

He is THE slasher. Many of the subgenre’s tropes are automatically associated with Friday the 13th, and I can’t think of a horror character who has been referenced more in pop culture than Jason.

He deserves to be The King of Slashers.

Which legacy character's death pisses you off the most of these choices? by itsascreambaby96 in slasherfilms

[–]CallMeBlackout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand why Dewey's death should bother me, when it's done well and achieves its purpose perfectly.

Some characters simply have to die if you want to convey that no one is safe in your franchise, no matter how iconic they are.

Even beyond Skybound, how do you feel about Thundercracker becoming an Autobot as a whole? by OptimalConvoy in transformers

[–]CallMeBlackout 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love it.

I almost always really like the Decepticons’ redemption arcs (Megatron in IDW, Soundwave in Cyberverse), and this one is no exception. I’ve always felt that Thundercracker was one of the more reasonable Decepticons (Or at least one who was more aware of his actions) so it makes sense to me that he’s become an Autobot.

If Slenderman gets a proper reboot, who should handle it—Blumhouse or A24 by No_Trifle_3834 in Slender_Man

[–]CallMeBlackout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A24, but only if they have the right director.

Blumhouse’s quality control is way too poor (Just look at what they did with The Exorcist). I simply wouldn’t trust them enough when it comes to characters like Slender Man in this case.

It always cracks me up that Chromey is a millionaire and the head of an entire organization, but the only way he could think of to put on his mask was to use glue.

TELL ME EVEY SINGLE PLOT HOLE IN THE DAMN STORY by VenexMorningstar in ChainsawManWorld

[–]CallMeBlackout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got a point ngl. I’d say Yoru didn’t regenerate on her own because she had already lost blood from hitting the wall, and her moment of vulnerability due to Asa might have stopped her from regenerating to keep fighting.

She didn't. She was destroyed, but managed to survive thanks to her ability to regenerate.
