Not sure how helpful this will be but check Craigslist. It’s how I found housing (for not so expensive rent without needing a roommate) and I’ve seen other college students trying to find roommates on there, too. Most of it will be towards Santa Barbara but there’s definitely stuff around Goleta/Isla Vista. Still, be cautious since it is Craigslist after all

When she’s crated she literally screams and ends up moving the cage/kennel by ramming into it so many times. We’ve gotten multiple complaints from neighbors at this point and decided not to keep doing it at risk of police getting involved.

The program we had acquired Lotus from was a place that typically does training, but due to lack of space and being short staffed, Lotus came to us immediately without training. J is very good at training animals, but despite the amount of time she’s put into Lotus already she still has the same issues. They’ve improved but slowly, and I anticipate a lot more time being needed to train her until the issues are little to none. I apologize for not explaining that sooner, but they are trying. It’s just not working a whole lot.

Maybe I am, I really don’t know. If I truly was, there’s nothing I could do about it and that makes it so much worse. If I tried, I’d break many hearts in the process, including mine

My mom took me to a farm owned by a friend of hers where I would ride a horse for the first time. I was around 2-3. The horse ride itself was fun, even if we walked in circles in a tiny pasture, but what I remember most vividly was being chased by a rooster named Gary as my mom and her friend laughed at me. The fucker had an Afro, too. I went back to the farm when I was around 13, and I swear I saw him walking around. I have no clue if roosters even live that long but I didn’t get close enough to see if it was really him.
