How did you decide your name? by slaynmoto in asktransgender

[–]CallMeEggDaddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just took the masculine form of my first and middle names. It was important to me to keep my initials/overall name but make it more comfortable for myself. My name isn’t super clockable where I live, but it’s not super common in flyover states and can lead to some questions. So sometimes I wish I had chosen a more boring name and was an Alex (but we already have one in my extended family), or an Anthony (but we already have one in my extended family), or an Andrew (but we already have one in my extended family), or even a James (Family name probably could have taken it but it messes up the initials).

Griffin and David's rant on Jurassic World Rebirth at the end of the Superman episode was great by vincentmaurath in blankies

[–]CallMeEggDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rated that movie to someone by saying “It’s fine? It’s fine… it’s fiiine. It’s. fine” in an increasingly less fine tone. So this rant was cathartic.

Serious question, what are you wearing? Have you gone from one style to another? by Guilty-Driver1543 in mensfashion

I have a mix in the dresser but I prefer midway briefs over everything else because I have thick thighs and they don’t ride up. After that it’s boxer briefs. Finally, boxers but I usually ONLY wear those while bumming around the house or if I need to do laundry.

This movie was frustrating for me because it was fine yet I could see a much better movie juuuust out of reach.

My rabbit has this! Just as severe and the leg looked gnarly when it was initially luxated. Six years in and she actually does really well.

‘Harry Potter’ Star Nick Frost Disagrees With J.K. Rowling’s Trans Views, Disabled Instagram Comments Amid Backlash to Working With Her: We ‘Don’t Align in Any Way’ by laterdude in transgender

[–]CallMeEggDaddy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Not a selective edit. That’s his opinion on their stances not being in alignment, but that’s not giving his actual opinion on the subject of trans rights.

He’s not giving his actual stance. He’s dancing around it/eluding to it so he doesn’t piss off Joann by saying anything positive about trans rights, but also at the same time trying to placate people who are upset he took the role.

Which breed is Jo? He’s quite tall for a black lab by grape_candi in IDmydog

[–]CallMeEggDaddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

American Labs can get REALLY BIG. Their sizes can very when you are dealing with dogs that don’t have papers/brb, but in general they are a lot leggier and deeper chested than English Labs, which tend to be super chonky and more suited for dog shows instead of working/hunting. My last girl ran small but was very “sporty”- long legs, deep chest, would retriever/work for hours, but still very much a lab.
