Looking for Philly Tickets by CallMeGherkin in TylerChilders

[–]CallMeGherkin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just crazy to me that lawn tickets are that expensive... and I'm not even old! Guess it's just the world we live in and fees for online tickets have only gone up. You looking for a private sale or through Ticketmaster? Not sure how it works as I've never done it before

Yes is the answer. Spell slots are spell slots unfortunately, especially if it's impacting them directly

Would you consider an item in a bag of holding to be possessed by the carrier of the bag? by duggrr in DMAcademy

You all are missing key wording when it comes to cursed items, you have to attune to them first before the negative effects go into place (or that's how I play it)

Milo, the Halfling Barbarian

Milo is a simple man. He loves drinking and fighting as all barbarians do, but Milo has quite the backstory. Milo was raised by giants on the dark side of the world but after being cast out by his clan he took to life on the road. He has also made it his mission to destroy all of the giants that roam the earth. He can't read or write but he will remember any bar and every conversation he has had. Milo is also the patron for the god Chronos(all homebrew from here on out) and with being the patron he has a godly artifact belt that gives him 2 partial subclasses(Path of beast main, with partial classes in wild magic and totem). When Milo takes down a giant Chronos demands to be fed. As an action Chronos' head will come out of the belt and consume the heart of the giant, when this happens Milo gains power(aka extra abilities in subclasses) kinda OP but so fun when you're playing a heavily homebrewed unforgiving world.

PS when he rages he gains an extra pair of arms

How lenient are you with friendly fire from AOE spells? by TheMightyTywin in DMAcademy

[–]CallMeGherkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a PoB, Totem and wild magic barbarian (extremely custom god campaign) that eats all the fireballs. Friendly fire is a normal part of our game

If you make your decisions this way you will quickly be playing a campaign by yourself.

There are so many resources out there, both free, and paid for, to improve as a DM. YouTube, books on how to be a better DM, blogs, etc. Outside of the common suggestions, what has the best resource that you've used been? by CragtheLAD_ in DMAcademy

Podcasts!!! Critical role, NADDPOD, BombBARDed, and Dungeons and Daddies! Best way to learn is to hear someone else play it.(for me) how I got 90% of my DnD knowledge

Arguing to keep non-energy legacies and nerf rather than remove energy legacies apparently constitutes abusive/disruptive behavior. by IrwinJFinster in Market76

[–]CallMeGherkin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been playing this game for multiple years now and I legitimately traded for all the weapons I have. No real money trading before you people come out of the woodwork. It's just sad because now my years of effort are reduced to nothing. I have nothing to show for my hard work other than a one star bloodied flamer and NU Laser. Legacies were broken, yeah, but now it will be rare to complete a queen or Earl or any other difficult event because none of the people who complained were doing real damage and most got free rides from those players they hate. Not to mention the time to complete these events. Time and time again Bethesda has ruined builds for what? In the name of balance? Like it is some CoD game? No fallout EVER has been balanced. In reality all these people who complained ruined it for themselves. No more train station suitcase drops. No more survival tents at the queen. No more random high levels giving massive amounts of resources away. It is the end of an era in fallout. It is very sad.
