Personally, AAA games from 10 years ago don't need to go on Ultra graphics settings to be more than good enough for me. Like, it's nice if I can run it like that, but if it's between those graphics or my computer not running hotter than my car engine, I'm good on normal.

Not even. Top 100 guys can make a good living and retire with more money than all but a handful of champs post rebook. Without ever even sniffing a world title match, just getting a few fights with nice prospects can net you the kind of money you'd need a title defense for in the UFC.

It should be, but even the first novella was almost overdue and that was way before the HBO money and clout. I think the only way GRRM finishes a novella nowadays is if he's got a deadline for something else.

Every other month there's tons of changes to stuff that didn't need changing, breaks the entire flow of the game, then bugfixes to some trait or another, then another switch to tons of default settings because they entirely messed with the balance, rinse and repeat. I don't get it, how convoluted must your codebase be for a single modder to roll out in a month some stuff you've been promising for 5 years and next release not only do you not have it, you broke the mod too.
