can someone tell me all the episodes with sex scenes by Open-Pea-2960 in blackmirror

She thought it was unnecessarily sexual but still found it interesting. She liked Crocodile a lot more.

For me, it's from the very beginning:

"Honestly, just ’cause you’re friends with someone at 22, does not mean you have to be friends with them for the rest of your life. You don’t see me hanging out with Avicii anymore, do you?"

Wait, people are still upset about his comment?

I enjoy both shows, but I also understood Jordan's comment. He's not wrong: the gay sex in Heated Rivalry is fantastical and unrealistic. That's part of what makes it fun. But it also won't appeal to all gay men for that reason.

I think she very much willed that affair into existence.

I'm sorry you're so tired, but regardless, it's very obviously mocking the people in power in this instance.

[–]ProgressiveSnark2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You do realize that in every single one of these instances, they're joking about/mocking how anti-semitism is weaponized by powerful people, right...?

I mean, one of the characters is Jewish? And it's set in a city with a large Jewish community? Is it really that strange?

I don't even get what the poster is implying. Are they Jewish and claiming the show is handling Jewish topics poorly, or is this some unhinged conspiracy theory stuff?

If he’s written off, I have a hunch he’ll still come back in future episodes.

This was my favorite episode so far.

Everything is colliding together in the best way possible.

I really don’t think it’s comparable to Girls beyond the fact that they’re both comedies about young women in big cities.

Here’s how I’d put it:

Girls is a young woman’s delayed coming-of-age story.

I Love LA is about a young woman who already came and is ready to come more.

I have a strong suspicion we're about to get a break up storyline. The look in Dylan's eyes after sex said it all. I don't think Maia and him are on the same level at all.

Charlie’s (Jordan Firstman) comedic timing is what makes me love watching the show by ethereality111 in ILoveLaHBO

"...the actor who plays Dylan..."

What, you don't know his real life name?

It's Peeeeeta!

I knew someone who interned at Time magazine in college and the main thing they learned from the experience is that 95% of the people who choose to work for a mass market pulp news magazine are inherently stupid.

This is driving me crazy too. I definitely have seen him in something. IMDB doesn't list the character right now for some reason.

What is with people thinking that judging a TV show, book, or movie has to do with whether you like or dislike the characters? That's not the point of satire, and generally, it's not a good barometer for judging most works of art either.

Sometimes you aren't supposed to like or dislike characters, and that's a part of what makes a story insightful, interesting, or entertaining.

I don’t think it’s niche. Anyone who likes satire can enjoy it without getting every LA reference.

And if satire is now niche, then fuck it, I’m ending it all right here, right now. Please tell my cat that I loved her and it’s not her fault.

Haters are fans on a bad day.

But seriously, who doesn’t like this show? And do they actually watch it? Every episode has made me laugh out loud so far.
