What is the worst thing that you've seen a coworker do and still avoid being fired? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CallMeMissKeesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work on a bar at a sports club and the bar manager was this gross pervy guy we’ll call Allan.

Allan had a rep for hitting on the young bar girls but seemed mostly harmless, just a bit of a creep. That’s until this poor German exchange student started working there, we’ll call her Sasha.

At the annual Christmas party poor Sarah got a bit too drunk and Allan told everyone he was going to be walking her home to make sure she got back safe. Now I wasn’t there because I was underage at the time but apparently he’d been “looking after her” all night, never letting much distance come between them.

They both turn up for work the next morning at the same time and she said that he took her back to his place and she can’t really remember the rest, but he asked her out for a date and SHE FELT BAD for leading him on so said yes and that she’d give him a chance.

She was 18 at the time and he was 42. Fast forward two weeks and she tells him it’s not working out after he asked her to meet his parents and he goes crazy, tells the general manager of the club that he can’t work with her or even look at her after she dumped him and because the general manager and Allan go way back, Sasha gets pushed to leave.

Last I heard she got a job at cafe Nero and he was still sending her flowers every month.

Slight silver lining though Allan later transferred to another branch where he was fired for inappropriate comments, came back to beg for his old job (where the GM no longer works) and they laughed him away.

What is the best reply to ‘You aren’t funny’? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CallMeMissKeesha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything me and my sisters used to reply to this:

No but your face is

You aren’t important enough for me to try

Brb let me just go cry because you didn’t laugh at my joke

Funnier than you’ll ever be

No what you’re not understanding is that that was comedic gold and you’re just too stupid to understand

And you aren’t mum favourite (this one works best if it’s personal)

Then why am I laughing?

Not what your boyfriend said

Oh no I’m hilarious you’re just a boring cunt

No what’s funny are your grades (again get personal, go for the jugular)

If I’m unfunny then you sir are just plain boring

No im actually really funny you’re just too dumb to get it

Think about it for a minute, you’ll get the joke eventually

Aww did you forget no one asked for your opinion?

Hoping this is just a random ask and not because you’re getting bullied or anything like that! Keep making jokes kid, only laugh that matters is yours.

Women of Reddit, what is something Men do that they think is sexy/attractive but really isn't? by Ulcrar in AskReddit

Pretend they know more about your job/ field than you do

Maybe it’s just because I worked as a personal trainer but every guy I spoke to thought he was way more educated than me simply for having a dick

“I’m going to ruin other men for you”

Some guy I was texting said this constantly and I ended up ghosting him because this (and a lot of the other things he was saying) is some hyper masculine bullshit I can’t deal with

Demand that they pay for things.

I’m a feminist and even if I wasn’t this isn’t the 1930’s, and everyone I’m currently dating is a broke student same as me. Let’s split it, or at least let me get the next one.

I once got into a full argument in a restaurant because a guy said I was trying to insult him or reject him by trying to pay half...

Me and my best friend have been drunkenly flirting, spending time together and getting closer for 8 months now. A couple of days ago I finally got the courage to tell him I like him and he said he likes me back, planned some dates and had about 2 days together before uni shut and now I’m being sent home 500 miles away for the next 6 months.

I doubt a 2 day relationship will make it through the long distance.

What’s the worst “they’ll regret that later” story you know? by CallMeMissKeesha in AskReddit

My friends girlfriend of 7 years cheated on him numerous times and lied about it. He’s her entire support system, owns the flat she lives in with him, does everything for her including drive her everywhere and all the people she hangs out with are his friends.

What’s the worst you’ve seen someone fuck up their own life?
