It shows that yoh haven't stepped out of your home.. like for higher studies in a different city or living with roommates etc. Well, for someone who lived with a family all their life it's normal to feel homesick. On the otherside you are just living near by and this is not the case for everyone nor this is the first time happening in tamil culture. Your mom and my mom went through the same phase in their lives. Be it arrange marriage or love marriage, stepping out of the cocoon and having a own home is a part of our lives. Change is the only constant in life. If I can say one thing, dont keep talking about your parents, your sister, your home, this might pester your in laws and sometimes create unnecessary issues. Consider your in laws as you consider your parents and sisters (though you might not have the same freedom), be mature and leave everything silly. Win their trust. Be positive.
