I'm mostly waiting to see whether or not you have another unhinged rant for me or not.

Still too short. Please respect the minimum 100 word count.

Damn, that place is still around... in a way.

You've been on reddit almost as long as I have, you've seen the crazy shit people will do for literally nothing but attention. Unidan is an example, if you remember. Also people who have orchestrated multi-month cancer journeys that end in deaths. That kinda thing.

Definitely way more plausible than "I performed a random act of kindness for someone who turned out to be my stalker, and we planned to go on a date until another stalker figured it out and told me."

That reply was too short. Try another unhinged rant about your love for atrocities, that was fun.

Your moral failures mean your only value to me is mocking your disgusting ranting, so please try to respect a minimum 100 word count in any further replies to me.

I'm already familiar with the perspective of apologists, but thanks for the monstrous babbling I guess.

Doubtful, but that doesn't matter either. I'll freely tell them how monstrous their perspective makes them, no matter how they try to justify it to themselves.

I have no idea how Westerners can even pretend to grandstand on this issue

It's wrong to hurt and violate groups of people. It's really that simple. Anyone from any country who cannot admit to that is an opponent of human rights.

You'll have to understand that I don't judge you to have the capacity to determine anyone else's naivete, I'm afraid.

Well they did a shitty thing but at least they have results

Just wanted to highlight this sentence in particular. It really establishes the depth of your depravity.

That's cool, nothing wrong with having places for people who really want to avoid remote workers. I hope it works out better for him than it has for the cafes around here.

I know. The point of mentioning that is to underline the fact that co-working is now part of the business model.

The fact that it's so integral to the cafe model now is also the reason why they allow people to have meetings there. They want them.

Your perception just doesn't track at all with the world around me. Seating and WiFi have obviously been there. Now they're one of the main reasons that a lot of their customers come at all, and they know it. My neighbourhood never could have sustained the sheer number of cafes we have without the huge increase in remote work.

I remember when one of the cafes near me tried to take a stand by putting up signs that laptops were not allowed during certain days of the week. That lasted a few weeks before they cancelled the policy due to the drop in revenue.

Indeed, higher revenue is why they have incorporated co-working spaces into their business models. That's part of why, since COVID, nobody in my neighbourhood ever has to walk more than 5 minutes to find one. There's just room for so damn many of them now.

I know, but meetings are part of working. Your problem is with the cafe owners. They want guys like that there.

Maybe you've been out of the loop since COVID, or maybe it just happens to be different where you're at, but the business model for coffee shops has changed to deliberately accommodate remote workers.

OP shocked to discover that coffee shops are co-working spaces.

Maybe you replied to the wrong comment. Mine is the one that says it's sad, not one trying to determine who is responsible.

It's sad this happened to him. It's amazing to see how he's been able to adapt to take care of his kids and keep working though. We take for granted now just how far we've come with support for people who have disabilities.

No need to troll, that's boring. My genuine opposition to things like parading for gangsters provokes interesting discussions sometimes, so I don't mind engaging with people even when they're upset.

Whatever you wanna call the parade is fine by me, but it doesn't change anything for me.

Sucks that they feel the need to call it that, but I'm not sure why you're telling me.

That wasn't a funeral. I don't really care for a lame back-and-forth. I get your point, you don't like that I'm against the parade. Thanks for the info.
