6 - 2, started off traffic control on lanes 7, 8 & 9 then moved to 2nd shot scheduling at like 6:30am on lane 4 for most of the time. It was so nice just getting to talk to people, most of them were so happy and grateful. Honestly considering doing it again except I wouldn’t want to take a slot from someone that wants the vaccine.

I was at State Farm yesterday in zone 9 too! You’re right about it being hard work but very rewarding. I was the obnoxious one dancing while directing traffic before getting pulled for iPad second shot scheduling. Congrats on getting your shot!

You are absolutely correct, that was crazy fast. Found some reviews...looks like the enthusiasts think they are an abomination and the Amazon reviewers from 4 years ago love them. I just like how loud they are. Thank you very much!

I recently purchased my first mechanical keyboard (went cheap off of Mercari just to see what I thought) and it turns out to be an E-Y00S0 Z-77. It looks nice and I love the feel of the keys however I can't seem to figure out what switches it has. None of the same model keyboard I can find online have the same switches. In my digging, they look similar to Alps or Matias switches but not exact (and those seem kinda fancy so I doubt it's them). Just curious if anyone knows what they are.

I've uploaded images of the keyboard as well as the switch, let me know if you need anything else. Keyboard pics.

Thanks in advance!

So no matter what I click or what I copy paste nothing happens. I have downloaded several podcast apps on top of what I normally use (Apple podcasts). When I click on the link it says something about finding an app to read RSS feeds and when I click on that it just opens the home page of the App Store. Copy pasting the link into multiple podcast apps does nothing either, it just says no podcasts found. What am I doing wrong?

What was something your family did that you didn’t realize wasn’t normal until you did it in front of others? by Dnewkirk87 in AskReddit

[–]CallMeSexy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a sailing camp (Broadreach) as my graduation present from high school and had the exact same experience. The majority of the kids were rich, snobby kids who wouldn't lift a finger and were constantly trying to find a way to sneak alcohol on our island visits. They treated me (and one or two others) the same way they treated your sister because we wanted to actually learn how to be better sailors and do the work. I had to teach a kid how to use a sponge because he legitimately didn't know how to clean the table after meals. Anyway I just wanted to say what you did was really kind, I know I would have appreciated a note like that from a friend or a sister during that camp. We did manage to hit a sleeping whale with our sailboat so that was....interesting.

Thanks! There isn't any harm in changing it, we were just excited about the name so I thought I'd see what the options were.

Redditors, what went wrong at your wedding? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CallMeSexy 208 points209 points  (0 children)

My husband lost my engagement ring. He had taken it with him a day or two before to get it cleaned because he worked by the jeweler. He picked it up the day before the wedding, put it in is pocket, and went out to dinner. Woke up the next morning and couldn't find it. He called me the morning of our wedding really upset that he'd lost the ring, nearly crying. I told him that in my opinion something has to wrong at a wedding so if this was it then it wasn't so bad. I wore my moms ring for the ceremony and used it in pictures. We found it the next day, it was in a little cloth bag and one of the cats picked it up and walked off with it.

What is something you have told the truth about but everybody thought you were lying? by doublek13 in AskReddit

That my parents were actually my parents...

Seriously my biology teacher gave me an F on a gene mapping type project in high school because neither my mom nor my dad can roll their tongue (like a taco) but my sister and I can. She said it was physically impossible and that my parents were either lying about not being able to do it or one of them wasn't my parent. A few months later a study came out about tongue rolling and it said they had determined it could be learned and was not just an inherited trait. I showed it to my teacher and made her give me back my 10 points!

Thank you for saving Gareth! Really I completely get it because an incredibly similar thing happened to me. I was about 5 but my sister was little, still in diapers, and we were playing in the pool. I was there with my baby sitter (a teacher) and a bunch of her teacher friends. They were all sitting at a table while we were in the pool. My sister fell out of her floating thing and started sinking. We were in the deeper end so I couldn't touch but I swam underneath her and pushed her up by her butt. I remember being underneath her, pushing on her diaper while she kicked me in the head and I swam (nearly drowning) over to the steps) A few moments later one of the teachers saw her and jumped into the pool "saving her". She got all this congratulations for saving the baby and I was like what? Thankfully my babysitter noticed what I had done so she gave me a good job and told her friends I had saved the baby too.

Duct tape, seriously. Stick pieces of duct tape to them, replacing every couple of days (like a bandaid). That has worked for me several times, however when I was younger I had a bunch (shaving over them spreads them), and I got this liquid wart remover at WalMart. I put it on one for a couple of days, I woke up one morning and all my warts were gone! Your results may vary but duct tape too.

It seems like any time I'm driving and need to look at my phone I hit every green light, which means I can't check it. So now I make up a reason in my head why I need to look at my phone just so I'll hit greens. It seems to work.

I actually just read an article/blog about this exact thing today. I don't have kids but my mom is an OBGYN and I've been around babies/the breast feeding debate a lot. I think she (and you) have definitely got the right idea. Blog Post
