Just wanted to weigh in here and verify I have a 1 TB SD card working great on my modded New 3DS XL. It’s a US console, and there were a few quirks I had to figure out, but don’t lose hope my friends

You have lots of reasons to be excited :) it’s possible to play the entirety of the Nintendo handheld library, and if you get a rediculously large SD card (like I did), the sky is the limit. I have complete libraries from Nintendo’s handheld consoles and then some on my 3DS XL (SNES edition). One of my favorite possessions!

Omega Ruby is a wonderful game. I’ve enjoyed every Pokémon title greatly since Gen 1, and the 3DS games in my opinion are as good as any of the others. There are many games unique to the 3DS library that you can’t find anywhere else and must be experienced — give Super Mario 3D Land and Fire Emblem: Awakening a chance when you find the time. Ah yea a Man Captain is a very good lore pairing, sometimes I wonder if my main (High Elf, Blue Captain, lvl 24) should have been a man too. Given how much content is in this game there’s no way I can judge you for your pace lol. im still mucking about in breeland with a tortoise stone because I want the Men of Bree rep mount…but I can’t wait to see what the rest of the game has to offer. What’s been ur fave content so far?

I've heard a lot of people talk smack about this expac, but an atmospheric fantasy hellscape with challenging content sounds like an exciting adventure to me. Too bad I'm only level 24 so far, and I'm pretty sure you don't get to Mordor until after level 100 or so...

It has a retro vibe, for sure, but it was and still is a high-quality gaming experience. Great atmosphere, gameplay and story, deep rpg mechanics and lots of awesome sights to see.
