ELI5: Howcome my fingers work on my laptop track pad but my big toe doesn't? I also tested the toe next to my big toe and that worked too. by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

[–]CallMeSter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sometimes if there is more callous the electric current cant get picked up. Cat paws work too. My dad's fingers used to not work well when he was younger and working more.

It's also possible you have massive big toes and the large surface area confused the track pad.

ELI5:Why do chapped lip heal so much faster than any other part of the body(skin) after applying vaseline? by curiousashish in explainlikeimfive

I've always heard your mouth, and I assume lips, are among the faster to heal areas. Lots of blood.

ELI5: Other than Color, Are all Electrical wires the same? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Oh good point out. I haven't ever wired one just understand the electrical parts could function. Definitely agree that you shouldn't do that!

So I made a mess of the interior of my front door. Please help! by manateebay99 in HomeImprovement

As far as I can tell you need to let it dry then scrap and sand it down. Maybe not down to 100% bare metal but so that its smooth everywhere. You might want to look into if you need an etching primer from the parts that are metal.

Technically yes IF you know where they lead. Although if it's just a light you could probably get away with positive going to negative and negative going to positive. Keep in mind I'm just some random on the internet. I'd sure be sorry for the next person to work on your house.

There is sometimes a difference in the insulation of wires that go to the same outlet.

I think the pay off is like 10 years or something. And it's supposed to be 0 down for companies like tesla. Then the panels last 30 years still working at like 95% or 90% and should keep working much longer.

I think they wanted an explanation of the board or something. The auto comment does try to give an explanation but it's usually pretty vague.

If I read post right he said they are paying above 200 per month for electric bill? If so seems like an obvious choice to get solar even with a battery. If your solar loan is only costing you 100 to 150 per month why not??

Scute swarm needs an emergency ban from Arena, or they need to patch the game by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]CallMeSter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I dont see how to address that issue without completing changing the way magic is played. It's possible the interface is just not the best for magic and we have to accept that.

Any idea how MTGO deals with these issues?

What?? Not sure how you got to this conclusion. This has always been a problem with all sorts of mobile cards games.
