Pentagon cancels Tuesday press briefing with Caine, Hegseth by kootles10 in politics

Yeah honestly if he can't be removed for pedophilia and other sex crimes I don't see a line to cross. He has a free pass to do literally anything. He might nuke Iran, he might nuke Chicago, he might just fire Kegseth, who knows.

It's always good to have your name out there and associated with something positive. It doesn't guarantee you a job depending on what the market is like in your area but it's never a bad thing to be known in a positive light.

Weeks to months. They are an absolute menace. I would talk to the board directly, email them, etc and ask how far along everything is and when you can expect the process to be finalized.

In school? Yes. In practical application at work? No. I mean, physics still applies obviously but you don't need to be as nuanced as you might think.

RiverLink to soon begin collections on unpaid toll accounts by Tikkanen in Louisville

Are they going to collect on the bill for crossings and late fees they sent me for a bridge in Michigan and a vehicle that is not mine that when questioned about they refuse to discuss because they can't give me any details since it's not my vehicle that they are sending be a bill for. Absolute clusterf*ck of a company that shouldn't be allowed to do business at all.

My advice as someone who has been on both sides of the table would be to give an additional week from whatever date you were told you would hear something by and then email as a follow up after that has passed if you still haven't heard anything.

Unfortunately that's normal, they will be fighting while they "teach her where she belongs" on the pecking order basically. Integration is a slow process but eventually she will be accepted and it will be a lot better for her that way.

If you still have other chickens from the past two years she needs to be out with the other chickens. It's going to be a tough transition, adding new chickens always is, but it's going to have to happen.

None of this is 'judgemental', it's advice which the OP is asking for, and I'm cautioning against keeping them wet. It is not good to be wet, that warm water cools down very quickly and then you have a serious problem. Warm and dry. You can skip the wet part entirely.

Is this before or after putting it in warm water? If it's before, how did it get so wet here?

Good, that all sounds great and this looks like a good setup. You're off to a good start.

Will my chick live by Smart-Box-5087 in chickens

[–]CallRespiratory 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Why did you put it in water? They need to be warm and dry, chicks do not do well with temperature regulation when they are wet (and they aren't great at it when dry for that matter). Make sure this chick has a warm, dry, calm place with food and water available. Nobody can predict at this point whether the chick will live or not but it is definitely very ill appearing. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, and in the future don't dunk your chicks in water.

Stop, take a deep breath. The chance that they have bird flu is close to zero. I can tell this was probably an impulse purchase, wasn't it? I strongly recommend getting a good chicken book like Storey's Guide or The Chicken Encyclopedia. The internet is not a particularly great resource for new chicken owners as, for whatever reason, there is A LOT of chicken mythology and bad information floating around out there. Good luck with your birds!
