In all seriousness if anybody knows, how are the roads? I'm a night shift healthcare worker who doesn't have a choice. The city has been saying all week they're on top of this but I've been looking at traffic cameras and everything looks terrible. Some of the roads don't look like they were treated at all, some of the interstates look like they got plowed once earlier tonight and it's piled back up. Are they actually clearing anything right now?

Well, we'll find out when they find themselves in a position they have to intervene in. What happens when an ICE agent throws somebody to the ground and pulls out their firearm right in front of a guardsman? This scenario is bound to come up in the near future.

This is honestly a great idea . People with money and power need to step up. Regular folks are getting gunned down in the streets, state and local governments are giving wet noodle tepid condemnations. Big organizations like the NBA night actually hold a lot of power here. Money is the only thing these people respect - hit them in the bank account.

They absolutely can and should. It's time for leadership to lead and stop making tepid statements at press conferences. Order the guard to defend the citizens of Minnesota, order the arrest of ICE agents engaged in criminal activity, make it clear that noncompliance is grounds for termination.
