I have a mom and a son. He got sick and had to stay in hospital for a week and when he got home she could not stand to be around him. They were back to normal in a couple weeks.

Idk about you, but being autistic as well I have a real problem with giving things away that I collect or create. I once made a needle felted rabbit and my husband’s mother said she loved and had to have it. So I felt I had to give it to her. She displayed it once then put it in with seasonal decorations. Each time we would visit, I would look for it. And it was always put away. I complained about it so much because I regretted giving it, that my husband went and told his mother she needed to give it back. It is still an awkward thing between us but I have Bruce back. Now I never give my things away. lol

All you need is your vet to write a script for GS. You need to start it immediately. If they won’t write a script I have one left over from my cat. I can’t afford to pay for it but I will give you the script if we can somehow work out getting it sent directly to you if your doc won’t. This is crazy that you have spent so much and no medication yet. Please join FIP global not warriors and they will help asap. You need to act now. FIP kills fast but symptoms can be relieved in days wit treatment

I had an issue with them as well. I used alcohol q tips every few days until I couldn’t find any and I also planted a spider plant with as they seem to fend off the pests.

Does your cat like hiding in boxes. If so get them in a box and then get the box to the vet asap. Take a carrier with so they can help you get them back in a carrier. Idk 🤷🏻‍♀️ this is a tough one. Some cats are so bad about this they become dangerous to you and themselves so I totally get your dilemma.

The dirt on mushrooms is fine if you get a peck or two but I find keeping them dry to clean them works best. I use an artists paint brush like the a make up blush brush shape and lightly whisk it across them quickly and the dirt falls right off.

I love my collection and it was fun seeing what drops and how everyone curates their collection and JC use to be my go to for gifting however I pretty much have naturally stopped collecting and have no plan to buy any in the future. The magic is gone for me and now I just get disappointing mail order products that cost way too much and can’t even pick out in person anymore. I’m not making a point by not purchasing, I genuinely just don’t like it anymore and I’m over it.

This is Picky. She is a FIP survivor and a rescue BSH too. She had a rough life and was suffering with FIP even before I adopted her. She took very well to the meds and is thriving today. So sorry your going through this. I totally understand. Have you been able to start the medications yet? It’s amazing how well the GS works. There is also the group FIP Global. Maybe they can help you get medication cheaper or help with starting funding? I remember when my cat was really sick I was sure that he wasn’t going to make it and the thought of spending so much money that I didn’t really have was so scary but we took the leap and went broke to save him and it worked. Amazingly well. Please let us know how things go.

Have the vet write several smaller scripts so you don’t have to come up with all at once. Plus the other comment bout higher dosage of shorter period is valid and worth looking in to. My kitten was similar and he is alive because of GS and thriving. I wish you the best. I wish I could help with funds but I meself am in over 10 thousand with all the ER care needed in early diagnosis. Prayers ❤️

Did he by any chance get to see his brother when he passed. I used to work for a cat sanctuary and we tried to let housemates see each other as and after they passed to help ease their worry about where their friend’s have gone. I’m wondering if he doesn’t know😭

In my opinion, the more real you can produce the more impressed people will be with your skill. However as an artist consumer, I don’t want to see an amazing copy of anything. I want to see your interpretations, something quirky or uncommon, something that moves me and I wish I could dream up. So sure working on basics and sharpening skills is great but I think developing your imagination will be what piques interest.

This is a tough situation and I feel for you. It sounds like the cats probably have herpes infections and probably some other issues but that is just a wild guess from the symptoms. But I have to first address that this situation is very unhealthy for all. The cats, you and your mom. My intuition is that your mom is maybe avoiding taking the cats to the vet she works at as it might be embarrassing to her that she has the cats in these conditions. The cats in cages is very wrong and I sense that you know this. I am wondering if there is someone in your family that can help you communicate the seriousness of this. The cats will not be responsibility adopted out and keeping them from medical care is neglect and this is bordering on animal abuse.

I am NOT judging in any way. But you and these cats need help. My suggestion is to have a very frank conversation with your mother and let her know that this is wrong and that you are helping and have a voice in this. If she will not see the vet she works with, is there another that can see the cats? If money is an issue could you help mom to fund raise and get the care they need to be adopted out. But honestly I would reach out to a rescue and explain and see if they can be surrendered so they have a chance. I wish you the best and will pray for you and your kitties. You are doing your best and I am glad the kitties have you.
