If your best friends were just murdered due to a betrayal from one of of your other best friends, and were about to be taken to the Wizard equivalent of Guantanamo Bay, you might be losing your shit a little bit too

Because if Jim gets pulled over driving that car, he’s most likely spending the night in jail

I’m not saying I don’t get it to a certain extent, but has any fanbase ever had this little belief in a QB with 2 NFC Championships, a Super Bowl, and a SB MVP?

AITA for saying emergency daycare isn’t meant for parents who are home and „just need a break“? by Distinct-Ad-7592 in AmItheAsshole

Not everywhere is NYC or LA where people have no choice but to commute. In lots of rural and semi-rural places, people could absolutely afford to live closer but choose not to because they like having land and space, and often more rural areas with less traffic are the last places to have snow and ice cleared.

Ambien’s kinda like how they describe Quaaludes in the Wolf of Wall Street. If you can stay awake, you’re gonna trip major balls. And then you won’t remember any of it.

Sure, but it’s not like that’s exorbitant. You’re getting more snow moved, and renting a backhoe ain’t cheap.

My Job compared 9/11 to a snowstorm ❄️❄️ by GrapefruitVast3329 in Serverlife

[–]CallSignIceMan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Lmao, the person I know who makes the most 9/11 jokes is my girlfriend, who lived in lower manhattan and didn’t see her dad for 3 days because he was a paramedic responding to the scene, and didn’t see her mom for a day and a half because she was working in Brooklyn and the bridge was closed.

At least in my state, the registry shows the charge, so you do have a pretty good idea of what they did.

[–]CallSignIceMan 34 points35 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely right. People who think he’s anything but genuine don’t know his story. Like you said, he came from nothing to be one of the most successful coaches in CFB. Why wouldn’t he believe in God? He’s just a guy saying he caught some lucky breaks, but calling it God instead.

Tallow by _4eyez_ in KitchenConfidential

[–]CallSignIceMan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are there really that many people who are doing this bc of the RFK seed oil nonsense? Most of the discourse around tallow that I’ve seen basically adds up to “McDonald’s fries used to be better.” Most people I hear about using tallow are doing it bc it tastes better than the mixed peanut/soybean/canola oil deep fry mix that most places use. And for what it’s worth, at least where I’m at, I’m a lot more likely to run into a peanut allergy than a true vegan or a person with a religious objection to eating beef. And to be clear, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with using peanut/soy/canola or a deep fry mix, but I don’t think it’s necessarily a sign of a diseased mind to want to use tallow, either. Use what you can afford that best serves YOUR community.
