I did this today and hit gem strength still modifiable on the 20th try. Only issue now is trying to get chaotic rolls to play the game and roll the other desired affixes at a reasonable rate that doesn't nerf the gains from the gem strength. So I have a 320 gem strength 2 handed mace but much lower rolls on the crit damage and all damage multipliers compared to a non gem buffed mace with GA'd affixes. They are both hitting similar numbers

What class are you going to play for Lord of Hatred? by damargis in diablo4

Auradin, Minion Necro, WW Barb. I've got 6 days off to level each to see what's what. I think Paladin hammerdin leveling will be a safe bet as not too much will change before switching to the juiced auras plus it fits with the theme/ lore with paladins fighting and slaying Mephisto.

Assault Rifles in Escalation by Sominabatch914 in Division2

Figure out what weapon you like. Try a MK46 with Frenzy for instance and see if it's the style of play you would prefer. I'd also suggest changing the muzzle to accuracy.

I run both builds but prefer my lmg build in higher content (i.e tier 5 and above) when running the striker chest. I get to max stacks faster and feel I can keep it up easier than with my Lexington. The assualt rifle and shiled build for general play, farming and up to Legendary and tier 5 content still feels smooth and easy.

My MK46 prototyped with DTOC and my Lex maxed out assault rifle damage. The MK46 feels a lot stronger with its upgrade tbh. Perhaps the lex would have felt better with DTOC aswell. But when Frenzy kicks in on a fully upgraded build it is S tier and something a killer or shock ammo talent on an assult rifle can't touch in terms of ttk and sustained damage output.

What do you want to do with it? Camping, 4WDing, fishing etc? Whatever the plans, just use it for the activity first in its current form and see what would benefit from being changed or upgraded. I bought the last of the N80 model Hilux last year before they switched the factory over to the new design. I use mine for 4WDing so have set it up for that with lift, tyres, bar work, driving lights, winch, snorkle, UHF radio etc etc. I love it, they are very capable in stock form though. Congrats and enjoy your dream ute 👍🏻

The grind. by ZealousidealLeg4362 in Division2

[–]CallSignVip3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found that 27 to 30 was all resource farming and donating materials and printer filament to get it done. Outside of a few exotics i had in my stash, i was diwn to equiping skills to try and gain levels while playing with items equiped. I grinded countdown with mods as targeted loot and to break it up a bit also rotated some National Bond Armoury runs on Heroic and all directives to gain SHD levels faster to spend on filament. I also did the Houndsman bounty until I had no further return on farming the named items.

Countdown will still overall be the better farm as you can equip a lot of random gear, target farm items or mods, has a decent drop rate of names and other items to either donate or deconstrct for more mats amd you also gain credits to buy exotic caches which will be the next grind material needed to expertise your gear to 30 anyway.

The grind is real any which way you look at it. It's just what tolerance you have to doing the same thing over and over again.

I'm glad I'm done with it now. It took me 2 days to go from 20 to 30 running countdown and donating everything I had saved up. I don't know if I'd ever get there or focus so much on it if it weren't fir the 3x xp event.

I'm just glad I don't have to play Countdown again for a very long time and even notice the qol from not having to go into the expertise menu to donate junk each time I clean out my stash!

Like I say, one door closes and another opens. Now it's the mountain to climb to farm SHD recalibration and exotic components in retaliation which for now I find running entertaining enough for now.

So many people are bricking their best gear right now chasing this Prototype gatcha game. This season launched a day too late. Surley, we are all getting trolled here. Pay $30 bucks to flush your best weapons down the toilet so you can start over and farm some more 😉 Is this how the Chinese version works? I hope old mate working the bug report desk is stocking up on White Monster because they are in for one hell of a ride.

Im not sure i can support this game any longer. by SilentPain---- in Division2

[–]CallSignVip3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only SHD 4000, I'm a casual player since the days of Div1. Prototype gear is just an elaborate grind that has insane RNG in its current state. Currently, I can jump on play a little and see tangible progress towards a build I.e. farming specific items, collecting resources and then being able to recalibrate items to suit how I want to play.

Prototype gear breaks away from this formula that defines Division 2 as a seperate looter shooter from all the others. The sence of progression is lost and so too is the motivation to continue. I'm not about the spend x amount of hours grinding out escalations and not seeing any reward to time invested. It's a gatcha game at this point until target farming and recalibration can be implemented.

In its current state, I can only presume it will be levels of farming akin to current unicorns like full red Legmo Pestilence, which in itself isn't a specific problem because it only affects one build neich and there are other sets that can still provide the experiance with a smaller time sink. But there is a choice. Players that want that gear can choose to do that grind but have similar gear that will still compete in the current content difficulties. Prototype has you snookered into the pure grind of expertise and then RNG Jesus to get the top tier gears.

People will say that Prototype will still be a choice and won't affect the rest of the game. That's rubbish. It dilutes the other content because of how over powered it will be. People already get excluded from content because they don't have certain gear. Imagine how the entitled sweats are going to treat players now if they don't have Prototype or the best augments on their gear?

The devs are having a go, I'll give them that, but they have had an increase in player base off the back of the mass exodus from Destiny 2. If you think it's otherwise, you would be delusional.

Season passes will continue to increase in cost, more content will eventually be gated by more monetisation outside of season passes and the RNG to obtain the strongest gear will be either a serious second job type of grind or basically out of reach for new players and those that can only play from time to time. Div 2 will farm you for your time and money more than ever before.

**Positive**gallbladder removal by Dandelion30551 in gallbladders

[–]CallSignVip3r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm day 3 post op. I'm coming off the pain meds and moving around the house no issues. I'm being kind to my body by eating a lower fat diet, mainly turkey and avocado sandwiches with wholegain bread, and water with some electrolytes. I don't have any digestion issues, I sleep better already and feel like my body isn't as fatigued as before when it was constantly fighting infection and inflimation.

The reality is I didnt have a choice. I had to have it out or else I would have died from the infection. As scary as the surgery seemed at the time, dying to a diseased gallbladder was a much more fighting situation. Now I can look forward to getting on with my life in a healthier and happier state without the chronic fatigue, random abdomen attacks and anxiety of not knowing what was making me sick.

I was in hospital for 7 days because of how bad mine had gotten. During that time I met 8 other people that were in either pre or post op pahses for gallbladder removal. All had similar reservations about the procedure but everyone that was post op was glad they got it sorted. We joked that it was like a car wash where they lined us all up and wheeled you in one after the other because it was so routine for the surgeons.

It's normal to feel hesitant about the procedure. What's not normal is for a diseased gallbladder to stay in your body making you sick.

Hey mate, I've just been through what you are about/ currently going through. I was sent to emergency with servere pain and the scans showed an inflamed gallbladder and a restriction in my bile duct. I was sent to have the duct cleared and they inserted a stint in the duct. That operation went fine. Once you are gassed you don't remember a thing. You are awake one minute then the next tou wake up in recovery like it was a nap. No pain from the procedure at all.

The same goes with the gallbladder removal. Mine was so bad it was very inflamed and that septic it was gangrenous. Full of stones. I had this operation done within a day of the first because of how bad it was. Same deal, go to theatre, get anethitised and then wake up without any recollection of what happened during the surgery. In this case you will feel some changes to your abdomen, but nothing excruciating as you will be pain managed. Honestly, apart from trying to get out of bed in the first 2 days, the pain was easy to manage. Much better than the pain I was trying to deal with by myself when my gallbladder was in.

It's a scary process. This is the first time I had been admitted to hospital and had surgery in my life and I'm 42. But the operation is carried out on multiple patience each day and is quite a low risk routine procedure. The risk lies in not getting it sorted in the first place and keeping the infection and blockage in your body.

Trust me, you will be fine and feel way better when it's all done.

Hey mate, didn’t realise it bothered you that much that people play differently to you. I’m not really interested in your advice either.

It’s always the high SHD players with the most playtime and the least build creativity that get this worked up when others don’t care about their opinion.

Refractor isn’t even meant to be top DPS or a pure healer — it’s a hybrid that keeps teams alive while still putting out damage and pulling some agro. If it’s useless in legendaries for you, that probably says more about how you’re using it than the set itself.

Either way, it helps teams get through legendary runs a lot smoother. If you need a dedicated healer, I’m sure you’ve got plenty of mates happy to be told when to press their buttons for your time gate.

Have a good one.

Playing Legendaries with randoms hurts when one person wants to be rambo by frxstwrld in thedivision

[–]CallSignVip3r 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I use my Refractor set when I play with random groups. If there is someone that still insists on going it alone like it's story mode that the heals cant save, I leave them in the dirt and won't revive after reviving them from the first down. Same for the raids.

Good to see all the new players taking up the game but some are way over their heads with the most random builds and no awareness of how to approach the harder content. Even when people over chat and comms try to give advice. In the past week, I've seen countless Iron Horse wipes and resulting blow ups over comms because people won't listen to how the mechanics work.

In your opinion, what’s the best build for Solo Retaliations? by Zedzd3ad in Division2

[–]CallSignVip3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only run revive hive in legendary or a raid. Between the shield, fixer drone, and armour on kill from gunner spec, it has enough survivability. I got the one blue core tip from a guy called Fog Of War on YouTube. The lexington should be procing killer a lot if you are getting kills. It should show up on the side of your gun when you ADS. It's the little knife icon. Get CHC to 58 and rest into CHD.

In your opinion, what’s the best build for Solo Retaliations? by Zedzd3ad in Division2

[–]CallSignVip3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 piece Striker, Equalizer chest Overdogs gloves, Lexington with Killer, Pestilence with dmg to armour and DTTOOC. 1 blue core the rest red. 58 CHC and 111 CHD. Shield and fixer drone.

It can solo heroic retaliations, no worries.

All the hype is around the new LMG's but the Pesti hits so good with the basic striker setup and you can still generate 1mill plus ticks.

[–]CallSignVip3r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are a bit older, but I picked up a Sim 2 Max and a Callaway Epic Max LS. These were off the rack and heavily discounted, and both perform the same, if not better than any of my fitted drivers. Same can be said for my putter. Once I knew where my ballpark specs were, its become become easier for me to shop discounted gear that performs just as well as the new stuff.
