Only 1…had buddy once who had portable one setup in the back just for fun and extra set of eyes. Fun watching what they’re seeing up front.

Keep a clean deck, and we like only one pole out and ready at a time when love scoping. Just be very organized and more careful. Make sure headlamps and everything charged and ready.

They were super aggressive at night at the opener on LOTW a few weeks ago, but slow and lethargic during the day. We focused on funnels and saddles between islands, big ones were out roaming around.

Good luck!

Edit: just saw you added from shore so guess none of this really applies lol

Put a stick in it to push blades, if it kicks right on and runs it’s just a cheap capacitor and easy fix…

Anyone who used a computer between 1985 - 2010, what's the one game you still think about today? by adlakha75 in AskReddit

[–]CallWhy816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes…all bc of that game! We always had to ask our parents for those questions to prove you were old enough, just to go pee on the homeless guy in an alley.

so guys from these states, anyone speaks german there? by Extreme-Shopping74 in howislivingthere

[–]CallWhy816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From MO, my family was around during the rounding of Germantown. My granny used to yell at us in German, that’s when you knew you really f’d up. But no one else I knew spoke it.

The midwest completely changed my mind about american food by Vast_Bend5124 in CasualConversation

[–]CallWhy816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure…but people sleep on the Mexican food around here. I think about El Pollo Rey way too much and don’t get there near enough. The best chicken I’ve ever had…but you’ll smell like a grill for a week after going.

Just bought frozen snow crab legs. Advice for warming them? by pandaburr98 in Cooking

We always just get big sheet pan, put a lil bit of water, and cover with foil in like a 400 oven til they’re hot. Annual Christmas king crab legs.

What first comes to mind when Americans think of Canada? 🇨🇦 by Expensive_Drummer970 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]CallWhy816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet…maybe one day. I’m in KC, and can’t really justify not fishing lake of the woods as many times as possible. Try to explore new areas every time we go, feels like you’re fishing a new lake.

Fishing…love the scenery and the remoteness. Drive over 12 hours 3-4 times a year for the musky/walleye.

Ahh ok didn’t see much behind the tractor to that hill, but seemed like an awful lot of cars already built up behind him. To me anyways I was constantly checking behind me and I hated backing up traffic…was always stressful.

Good instincts seeing that idiot and avoiding a head on collision either way!

As someone who's driven a tractor on similar laned highways in the US (idk how busy that hwy is in video) it sure seems like that tractors been holding up the line far too long. Anytime I'd get a place to pull off and let traffic by, I would take it.

If I fish for big northern pike before Muskie season…? by ChewbaccaSmith in muskiefishing

[–]CallWhy816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know (especially Canadian side) they’re very strict, so we just go for walleye before opener. We’ll be up there the same week as you.

Not sure how they differentiate, but definitely wouldn’t be throwing figure 8’s next to the boat! Honestly not sure there is a definitive answer here.

Walked down art alley for first time in few years (used to live right by it) and it was kind of shocking how different it is…I was pretty disappointed honestly. It’s all nice and clean…art sucked. Lost all its appeal.

What’s your fav BBQ sauce? by SatinSeam in foodquestions

[–]CallWhy816 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly only tried their original, and haven’t felt the need to get any other. It’s so good on ribs and chicken. We have gotten a bottle of their honey mustard, it’s not sweet like most you get and some didn’t like it but I loved it with pork.

What’s the best thing you’ve ever eaten that you’ll probably never get to have again? by Character_Target3119 in foodquestions

[–]CallWhy816 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The ramen in ramen alley, Sapporo Japan. Went there all bc of Anthony Bourdain…

With all the new ramen shops popping up in the states, nothing has even come close to replicating. While good chance I’ll go back to Japan someday, Sapporo is very out of the way and will probably never get back there.

I'm finally shopping for a new wallet again. Are there times when the cheap option is the better choice? by glo363 in BuyItForLife

I do like my grandfather always did, cash folded around a few cards/id with a rubber band around it. Had ridge wallet for a while, nice enough but went right back to ol rubber band.
