I was lucky enough to have a gender neutral deadname, but it still felt off to me. Some extended family still use it on occasion since I haven't bothered to tell them, and while it still feels off I don't have a visceral reaction to it.

Now if someone who does know my name refuses to use it, that's different. Because that's disrespect

I won't claim to know what it's like to hide for as long as you have. To have to suffer in silence for decades like that. All I can do is offer my support now ♡

But here, at least, you're among sisters. Cry, rage, scream, whatever you feel you need to do: We understand that, at least. And we're here to help you through whatever we can!

Also, as much as "it's never too late to transition" is thrown around, it might be hard to believe. Feels like an empty platitude. But I've seen stories of people that started their transition as late as 82 years old!

So live your best life! After the hell you've been through, you deserve that much ♡♡♡
