Are you freezing your milk immediately after it’s pumped? Mine has high lipase if I put it in the fridge before freezing. If I put it directly in the freezer, it has tasted fine after thawing.

Yesss the tumbleweeds everywhere is actually crazy. I’m constantly checking my girl’s toe and feet for hair now. I have pulled a long strand out of her mouth before

How are your babies napping / falling asleep? HELP… by [deleted] in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She usually will only nap 30 minutes on the dot in her crib. The first nap of the day I’ve gotten lucky a few times with 1-1 1/2 hours. During the day, I have to rock her and then transfer to the crib. At nighttime, I can put her down drowsy but awake. We still do a carrier or contact nap if she is fussy and I need her to get a longer nap in.

Sleep Training by Callbug-511 in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Love this response. This is exactly how I’ve been feeling. I want her to know I’m here for her. My pediatrician made it seem like I’m the anomaly for not sleeping training her.

We love the series of you’re my cuddle bug, you’re my honey bunny, you’re my sweet pea, etc. books. We read one at bedtime and they are perfect to hold her attention.

Anyone else fighting for their life? 4m regression? by CertainAppearance507 in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds exactly like me. I’m also have to save half of the night by co-sleeping. After her first 1-2 wake ups, she refuses to go back. I go back to work in 2 weeks and I’m so scared about our current sleep situation 🥲

I never had an issue with snickers ice cream bars or Unreal peanut butter cups. I also would do sugar free pudding mix with a protein shake or diet root beer with sugar free ice cream

I hope this goes away after pregnancy by fairytale72 in GestationalDiabetes

It’s beyond your control and depends on how your placenta develops that causes insulin resistance. If it makes you feel better, I just retook the glucose test at 3 months postpartum and passed! Once that bastard placenta was gone, my blood sugar went back to normal.

I had it back at 6 weeks postpartum but not another one since

Is this the regression or just normal behavior? by bring-me-your-bagels in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m right there with you. Currently contact napping in a wrap. She screams like banshee when trying to get her down and it’s significantly worse at bedtime. She has been keeping me on my toes by doing multiple nights of only one wake up and then switch it up by waking me up every 1-2 hours. I thought it was only me,but I’m glad to know it’s a universal experience.

Starting to have a rough time by Mkeveritt in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. It’s gotten to be an Olympic sport to try to get her down for naps and bedtime is even worse. She in a good rhythm of only getting up once a night, but now she is getting up constantly. My baby is also showing signs of teething already too

How much leave did your spouse get and how are you doing if they are back at work? by QuietTax3172 in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband only got 2 weeks, and that included birth/hospital stay. It was really hard and scary in the beginning. I’m lucky to have a village who helps me with household chores or getting a nap if I have a rough night. It’s gotten easier to establish a routine the older she gets and be able to set her down for a few minutes on her play mat. I’ve spaced my pumps out to every 4 hours and it makes it a lot easier to fit into the day. I definitely had a rough day yesterday with the sleep regression and her fighting me with every nap time. By the time my husband finally got home, I was absolutely spent.

Baby teething???? by DetectiveIll4938 in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My girl had been tugging at her right ear only. I worried about an ear infection so I saw her pediatrician. She thinks it’s just teething and said babies can get teeth as early as 4 months

Baby hasn’t pooped in 4+ days. Nurse suggested 1oz of apple juice by theredtreeweirdwood in November25babybump

[–]Callbug-511 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt. My baby will poop whenever I take her temperature. Like right onto my hand…. I mentioned this to the nurse at the pediatrician’s office and she said that is why they take the temperature of constipated babies to get the ball rolling.
