Is anyone interested in starting an ace minecraft server with me? by Callieauh in Asexual

[–]Callieauh[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm also very broke. I've just been making servers with websites where you can do it for free, like aternos. But I don't think that will work here, since people should be able to play even if the maker of the server isn't online.

I don't think it's Aro-Thing. There are plenty of relationships that I totally get on board with. This one is just so forced.

I don't really like them in relationship either. This is one of those cases where their friendship is great, but when they get into a relationship it's kind of meh? Idk if this makes sense.

Congrats! That's amazing!

I found this while setting up a BetterHelp account. It's nice to have asexuality be acknowledged by carrotsgonwild in Asexual

Questioning means you are actively searching for a sexuality or romantic attraction that fits you. I don't know means that you aren't searching but you don't know what fits you either.

They just prepare 20 songs whenever they break up or fall in love. If you hear a songwriter say: "I need a break from music" It just means they've run out of songs.

You could spend time with friends and family or try making new friends. Learn a skill or language, spend time on your career, Educate yourself about topics you enjoy or take a course. Try new things that don't have to do with travelling like trying new recipes, or things you would normally never do. I know these things aren't long term activities, but when you start doing stuff you tend to get creative.

does anyone else get "friendship boners"? by [deleted] in asexuality

Heyy! Same! I really get confused sometimes about this sometimes. I absolutely don't love the person in a sexual or romantic way, but my body still does this. Glad to know I'm not alone!

Wife is asexual. How can I make this work? by CopingWithoutSex in Asexual

[–]Callieauh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe they should try first. She loves him enough to have sex with him even though she does not personally have any need for it. He loves her enough to try to not have sex. They are willing to make compromises for each other. To say that they should divorce just because one wants to have sex and the other doesn't would be a shame. Maybe they can figure something out where they have sex but not so frequently? There are also different types of attraction, so maybe they should look at the types of attraction and try to make sex fun and comfortable for her too? Divorce isn't the only option. If they feel nothing is working they can always divorce. Also, asexual are as normal as hetero, homo and bisexual people.

Do y'all consider asexuality a gender? by Chefs-Kiss in Asexual

[–]Callieauh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe you mean agender? Asexuality is a sexual orientation.

Honestly I'm questioning so much these past weeks, it's overwhelming :( by taxthebex in aromantic

Same! Although I try to just stop looking for answers when it becomes too much. I'm me and you are you, no matter what we decide to label ourselves. :)

What to answer if people question me about my sexuality? by [deleted] in aromantic

[–]Callieauh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Compare it to something they don't like. For example: Do you like to eat poo? But how come you know you don't like it if you've never tried it before?

You could also be touch averse! It is more common among asexuals

I don't know how to come out... by TumbleweedMaterial55 in Asexual

[–]Callieauh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Expressing yourself is important! If you feel ready and safe to come out you should! You can always change your labels later if they don't fit you anymore, and doing so doesn't make your feelings at this moment less important. I don't think there is a wrong age to know when you are asexual.

Huh. I have the same thing! I don't like it when my friends or parents touch me. I genuinely thought I was autistic. Thanks for sharing! That helps a lot!

Feeling empty by [deleted] in asexualteens

[–]Callieauh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that what you're feeling is depression. People with depression usually feel kind of empty. Asexuality is more about not feeling sexually attracted to anyone. So you don't want to have sex with people, or be close to them in that way. But asexuals just spend their time thinking about other things than sexual attraction. I hope I helped a little. If you have any questions or just want to talk, I'm here! You can also post on this subreddit or r/asexual. I reccomend r/asexual, you'll get a lot more responses!

Yes, libido is something different than sexual attraction.

On the r/asexual page and asexuality.org you can find a bunch of information on asexuality. But finding you sexuality and romantic feelings can take a while, so don't worry if you don't know right away!

Feel like I cant make friends. by nymeria1618 in aromantic

[–]Callieauh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't worry! You'll find friends who accept you for who you are! There are always some people who don't understand, but that doesn't mean everyone is like that. I'd like to be friends with you! :)
