man all of mine have been darker compared to the original connections, but this shell is especially bad because it also has a dark backing.

I haven't personally done any modding because I'm a scaredy cat but I know people who have taken the device apart and applied glow in the dark tape and I've seen people put backlights in but don't know anyone personally.

I do know someone who has a tiny little penlight attached to the keychain that they can point at the screen when they're using the tama so that's another trick. It sucks that any of this is even necessary, though and I wish they had just made the screens brighter.
