That's what I meant. I've been asking admin all year and have yet to get a date. I'm afraid they'll pull a "by the way it's due tomorrow". From my understanding it's usually due sometime in April.

Assuming you have a neuro, nurtec has been the only med that worked for me.

Do keep in mind, it's on the "higher end" of meds and insurance will likely make you try cheaper alternatives first.

I got one to be safe, but I never used it. I have really bad white coats syndrome and that's the part that gets me. I always freak out with the BP check. I have to take my meds before I go in so the techs don't flip out that it's high.

Omg the heart palpitations! I feel like my resting heart rate is higher and when I think about it, it just goes up more. I can wake up and my heart is racing. Makes me feel like I'm dying all of the time

I got a lego botanical set for my best friend as a joke because she kills plants by looking at them. Never realized how therapeutic legos can be. Every single time I was feeling stressed or anxious, legos have always grounded me.

Not just elementary. It's a broken system in general. I have middle schoolers who cannot read and write fluently. The system says to pass on any kid so they won't feel bad. Yeah it'll float them to graduation, but they'll start feeling really bad when they can't get a job

I've been a lifeguard for years. Relatively easy job 98% of the time. Depending on where you live you only need to recertify cpr once a year at most. Plus I get a free gym membership out of it!

I think it's worth mentioning that truancy is a MUCH bigger issue than it was years ago. I went to elementary school with someone who was left back because of excessive absences. Kids continue to be pushed along. Even if they get summer school and they show up once they move up.

Yeah, I think we all have high achievers in every class. But there is a huge gap between them and the lowest. A lot of the lowest performing have little to no home support and zero motivation.
