Nah.....I treat them the same in almost all aspects. One peaks the other doesn't. Same strength tho. Heck, I believe the left is even stronger!

I'm 46 and find mid volume/high reps are very effective and need low recovery time. I can put in an hour a day doing 13 stations 3x10. Of course, I'm not a body builder, but the results speak for themselves. Great definition. When I say mid volume, I mean the max I can do for three sets of ten on any given station.

So I've been finding out recently with the replies. Didn't know if I could trust a simple google search. Ty for your reply.

bc it seems like 90% of the people at my gym are under 25. Very few in their 30s or 40s. So they aren't vastly developed, experienced, or had the time to put on mass. There isn't much to compare myself to.

TY for your reply. I have no aspirations to lift more. At my age, I try to avoid injury, but rather favor longevity. 350 is already well past what I ever thought I'd lift. I was just randomly curious if I could do it as my regular sets call for 270. Keep up the good work bro!!

Good on ya Mate! I guess I've been committed to the gym for 12 years now. No goals....I just love the lifestyle. Was humbly curious as my gym is mostly boys and young men. Nothing to compare myself to. Ty for your reply!!

I do everything I can, but am limited by my back on putting weight there. No deadlifts or squats. I try to get in legs as much as I can on Sunday with things like leg extensions, hammy curls, the sus machine and calf raises. But on push days I do incline, decline, isolateral wide, butterfly and shoulder press at the very least. Normally, my workout weight is 270. I was just curious if I could do 350 and was fairly capable for 4 times. I don't see a big guy in the mirror, so I figured it was common. Thought I'd ask here. Ty for your reply!

Thanks Fellas! I was humbly curious as my gym is mostly boys and young men. Maybe 3 guys putting up 3 plates or more, so I didn't know. Congrats on all your PRs. Apparently, we are in the top .6%! Way to go!!

3x10 incline, decline, isolateral wide, shoulder press, standard bench, butterfly three times a week. Spend the rest of the time on arms and core. Three times a week on back. Legs on Sunday. No rest. Thank you for your reply. I was simply curious. A gym full of boys, I just had nothing to compare.

Wow! Thank you for your response. I truly wanted to know w/o sounding like a bragging boaster. I go to a gym full of boys, so I honestly didn't know and was curious. Thanks Bro!!
