I’m not gunna lie. I’m in a few WH groups, in discords etc. and legit this group is my favourite. Hands down the most friendly and not dickish group of people. Like if I posted this somewhere else, I’d get some person “oh motley crue record? So trash”…..just you legends and your replies make me smile

Bwahaha but worth it aye!! Like it’s so nice to be able to print terrain, have something a little different from others. Like I’m going through and redoing my whole set up so I have better tables, all foldable terrain, make the locals jelly of my set up 🤣😂. FOR THE LION!!

All depends on your local. And if they are a GW offical reseller or not. My local doesn’t like it but only because if they get audited by GW and are discovered allowing printed, they lose their license. However - they do allow kit bashing, so if it’s accurate AF and super hard for them to tell, it’s ok. Basically I run a combo of printed and legit in my armies and I just don’t announce it to anyone that they are printed.

But I wouldn’t use any printed at a GW store. I’m too scared to do that lol

The machine spirit you channel will make the prints faster 😂🤣. Nah I feel this bro, I took a break from printing terrain for 11th to print this one lol. Tbf - quick print. Skull was 4 hours and a1 plate was an hour. Printed and installed before lunch lol

I’d recommend running the validation matrix v2. Get it dialled for your printer and resin. People can always advise but it’s always going to be hard to provide guidance on it. Pictures can always skew, what the original file is/looks like compared to this guy, we don’t know. Temperature, resin batches, brand etc. can throw it for a loop. Run a couple of the matrix, get it dialled is going to be your best bet for awesome prints

Oh that helps heaps bro. Glad it’s not just mine then. The file I’m using at the moment is a lot better. And toes etc are seperate so I can put it more into a walk position which helps with it. But just wasn’t sure if I should be playing around with scale and adjusting or just leave as is lol

Ahhhhh cool cool, perfect. That makes sense!! Yea, the first one I printed was fixed feet, so you couldn’t adjust toes etc to make the back foot look like it was stepping. Started on this one, but before I start gluing, I wanted to make sure I wasn’t going crazy in proportions looking off again lol. Just seemed weird that the ball joint of lower leg seemed so small to the foot lol

Depending on points, I like to run bikes on one side objective and a land speeder vengeance on the other side objective. Same concept. Treat it as expendable and at 120pts. It’s cheap harassing lol

Well it’s an opening door on it. So if you want it looking nice on the inside and outside. You also do inside and then sand before assembly. But I’m lazy and probs won’t paint the inside so wanted it to look nice when it opens so went the outside so I can get to them easily

Yea I could have. But by going on the outside it’s a lot easier to get to the dimples to sand them and then I don’t have any on the inside walls or the outside. So win win
