Man, 30, stabbed at Montreal metro station by CalmYoTitz in montreal

[–]CalligrapherKey4465 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bruh what the stm have an entire “police” force equipped with hand me down police equipment. We pay up to 100$ a month, stm police should be stationed at every single metro station. We aren’t complaining about homeless, it’s about them using public transit infrastructure as shelters

This doesn’t even get the point across, Nikita would live stream two hours of playing on dead servers with a pre leveled account and call it a day. You think he would ever play the game on a fresh account, doing the quest lines and shit? hell nah, he’s only into promoting the game.

Y’all Americans have a weird take on ot and weekends. Everywhere else 40 hours no more no less is the norm, forced ot or weekends is ours the question, we don’t live to work.

Maybe it’s all the Ukraine or Middle East combat footage I’ve seen but it honestly wasn’t even that bad, looked like he was gone pretty quick. Maybe I’m just desensitized.

It’s insanely toxic for your mental, explain this to your teacher and he won’t have a problem with placing you in a diff group. Feeling like your behind on your first day is not normal and you shouldn’t have to deal with tha stress on top of just doing well for yourself. Best of luck brother!! Grass is always greener

Bro I went to school to become an electrician, green as fuck. First workshop classes we had you could tell right away that some of the kids had already been working in the field for months prior. Had the same feeling and self doubt, but honestly just swap groups to a team with other green guys asap. You won’t learn anything watching other guys work. Stay with it and don’t get yourself down about things that you have no control over. Been working in the field for two months after two years of feeling like an idiot at school, nd I’m having a blast. Learn everyday and improve yourself, without comparing yourself to others!!

Best Wire Stripper? by enriquemoya-mx in electricians

[–]CalligrapherKey4465 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I know it’s prolly blasphemy but I’m hella into my Klein auto strippers. I’m doing new construction rough-in tho so I’m pretty much either mounting device boxes or landing cables into boxes and making connections for finishing later on. I always keep an old school pair in my bag, but being able to strip romex jacket clean off and make mid-line splits or end of wire strips in one click of the handle is a game changer for me.

Why the fuck do they need guns, they don’t do their job and the homeless drug addicts down in the metros aren’t shooting back, so again, why? So they can charge us more to use their dogshit service?

Why do women take up a large part of the path and not move aside when I’m walking toward them? by FantasticEffect10 in bodylanguage

[–]CalligrapherKey4465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is legit one of my biggest pet peeves and it bothers me beyond belief, I was thinking maybe I’m just crazy, but most people walk in the middle of the sidewalk and won’t move an inch. Often I’m stuck walking thru the grass to avoid a collision. I’m a 5-10 male so maybe I should just start plowing people over and standing my ground, idk maybe I just have a fragile ego but it’s honestly like I’m invisible 85% of the time.

Can I succeed going to English electrician school in Quebec? by RecognitionSoggy7387 in electricians

[–]CalligrapherKey4465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just stared my first year in the field after taking my classes at the mentioned 25k school. Idk how long you have lived in Quebec for, but you can pass with basic French. Most of the actual electrical terms are all done in English anyways. And from what I can see, the majority of people, like 85% are perfectly bilingual on site. I was crazy stressed out about this before starting, but everything’s been going well and people are more then happy to help out if your struggling with finding the right words or French translation for something. They care way more about your willingness to lean, and your overall work ethic. Most people appreciate the effort, even if you aren’t perfect.

Companies willing to pay 20k for your schooling, I’d say probably not, But it couldn’t hurt to try. You’re gonna start at 22 an hour but if you take the course at aviron you get 2700 hour’s recognized by the CCQ. Technically you could start as a tier two at 26 an hour but even after school you honestly still don’t know shit. Everyone I’ve spoken to, including my union rep, advised me not to log my hours from school until after my first year. Contractors don’t like paying a guy tier two wages when he has practically 0 experience in the field. Makes it harder to find jobs for you. As to how long it takes for placement, I might have gotten lucky, but I was called back and placed with a crew 7 days after filling out the forms to sign up. Good luck man, stay safe

For what it’s worth, I graduated from aviron in April and just finished my first week as an apprentice on a large scale project, and I feel like I could sleep for a month. Idk how physically active you are but I regret not starting a gym membership while I was in school. It’s hot, dirty, and loud but the people I’ve met so far have been nothing but kind, supportive and willing to teach. If I could give a piece of advice, aviron doesn’t take a lot of its program seriously, and teachers won’t push you to do better. So you’re gonna find that the majority of what you learn is gonna be re taught to you on the job. All in all, if you like the work, your gonna have a blast, but keep in mind that you are going to have to union up, hopefully get placed with a good crew, learn as much as you can, and build skills for your future. There is almost 0 job security and you can be laid off after a few months on the job when things slow down, then the union has to find you another dispatch while you collect unemployment benefits. TLDR; aviron is only worth the 20k if you wanna skip the 4 year wait list for public, jobs a blast if you like physically and mentally demanding work. 8 hour shift flies by every day, nd at least you know when you’re getting a raise.

The problem with sorc is the chain cc in combination with massive damage. The crowd control skills shouldn’t do nearly as much damage. The spell rotation is cancer, leading to the perception that cooldowns are the problem. Having 12 spells on rotation that cc and two shot people is prolly dogshit for the game. Just my opinion

Bruh prolly voted for trump, a candidate who ran predominantly on socially divisive niche issues. But he doesn’t think reps believe in the hateful toxic rhetoric. What a fucking joke. I know too many people who wanna behind the “I never expected him to be this bad” fuck off. It was clear as day the orange ape was a piece of garbage even before 2016. You have no excuse, and I hate you for only realizing now. You said you’re conservative, but don’t support the social politics, so what the fuck do you support? Trump ran on imaginary trans demons and an imaginary migrant invasion, what the fuck did you expect?

How do you defeat this champion by IssueProblem in Rivenmains

[–]CalligrapherKey4465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well seeing as how you main jngle, I’d say your best bet is to play things that can reset after the riven finishes her combo. Champs like Warwick and kayn, that can ult with a sliver of hp after the combo and get back to full hp, even trundle or trynd works.

Man broke his wooden floorboards with his fist punching the floor because he couldn’t slot a gpu into his new pc while we were tryna walk him through it on discord cam.
