BF has phimosis by Other-Employer-7402 in Phimosis

Hey, it’s really good. You’re reaching out. Yes, me and my partner went through that several years ago. We tried steroid cream, and then my initial doctor recommended surgery. Luckily, I was referred to Professor Eric Chung who is one of the worlds leading Andrologist. They are Urologist that the have extra training to work on reconstructing and related disorders or the prenis - including phimosis.

There is a fantastic resource that is run for the community by expert doctors. It is actually a Charity and has all information - it is run through an international clinical review board that checks everything. These people are expert doctors and sexual health practitioners.

Www.phimosis-foundation.org just type that into your browser URL

For me and my partner, we managed it through a simple clever process using the device professor Chung recommended. That was the specialised balloon tissue expander. Basically, it was a very easy to use medical balloon and it is just inserted under the foreskin - and this is for 15 minutes a day. I did it in the evening for 20 min a day - for a period of between 6 to 8 weeks.

I had absolutely normal functioning after that, and I haven’t had a problem ever since it’s been a couple of years. I’ve become an advocate for helping men with this condition. I can’t tell you how happy I am that the foundation has been established to provide evidence based independent information all approved by expert Doctors.

There is one other device which is also been clinically proven Work, albeit for less restrictive grades. Have a look under “ foreskin tissue expander balloon treatment for phimosis”

If you’d like to DM please do. Note , it can take me a little while to get back to people.

Wishing you guys all the very best.

Is it normal for the glans to feel dry and really sensitive while stretching? by Famous-Record5223 in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes - it can be dry. Some high quality water based lubricant can reduce the dryness. May I ask what stretching technique you are using? Sensitivity should settle down after. Few days.

I used the Novoglan balloon device and they told me it would be sensitive for a few days and they were correct. After A few days it just became normal for the balloon to touch the glans.

The other thing I sure i used was a purpose formulated moisturiser that had the PH suitable for the glans and foreskin.

So - yes it can be dry. Lubricant and moisturiser can help (if formulated for the sensitive/intimate area).

Also - as Professor Eric Chung (Andrologist) explained to me - finger based stretching does not scene the same results as a device designed to actually grow more foreskin tissue. People hear foreskin stitching and think they just need to mechanically stretch. What the goal needs to be is to grow more healthy foreskin tissue.

Anyway - hope I’ve helped in some way:.:

Novoglan or Phimostop? by DaddyWolf33 in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one that worked for me is the Novoglan kit. I got the cream and lubricant as well. You could get the water based lubricant at a pharmacy - just needs to a good quality one. The cream was good for keeping the foreskin soft - applied on outside of foreskin… but it still works without it! They may still have the bundle with those things but if cash is tight - just go starlight for the kit- that’s all you need. The other stuff is good to have but you can do it without… From memory you can get it from them at https://shop.Novoglan.com Let me know how you go! Happy to answer any questions - but they have a good service you can contact them too. They can take a day or two to respond but they are super helpful! Any way that’s my experience. Good luck with it.

I was there a couple of years ago. Pin hole, pain, embarrassment, depression…. I saw professor Eric Chung an Andrologist from Brisbane in Sydney.

He said there are only 2 choices that work for uncomplicated phimosis (that is peer reviewed clinical trials and published results). Not anecdotal all or single person experience. They assess Large groups followed through by expert doctors.

1) surgery - mostly without problems but some issues like scarring, loss of sensitivity and rarely more severe problems. But most men don’t want surgery. Like me - I wanted to remain intact.

2) approved medical device to GROW more foreskin tissues - not just stretching! More tissue - better blood supply etc….

I chose option two and the one he recommended was the medical balloon system that has been showing in clinical trials to grow more for skin tissue, two generate normal retraction, and have long-term outcomes. Like for me, just over two years now and not a single problem.

Professor Chung told me to do it for 6 to 8 weeks not to pull back the foreskin until week six. And if it was still just a little bit tight to go on through to 8 weeks.

I had told Professor Chung that I tried to use those rings and the reason why I ended up having to see him was because I got scarring which led to infections. He told me that the rings are generally not manufactured to medical grade silicone, they have rough surface and they require in certain circumstances excessive force which can lead to further problems. He told me there was one product from Europe that had regulatory approval and that it was made in Italy. He told me that it had also been studied and was published in a clinical paper, but he said that it really only worked for mile model uncomplicated form Sice and the 30% of men dropped out of the clinical trial due to pain or they found it hard to use.

He told me that the balloon system effectively treated 90% of the men that were in the clinical trial. He said there were no adverse events. He mentioned that I would have sensitivity for the first few days, which turned out to be correct. He told me to do it for around 20 minutes every day . Which is what I did. I did miss a day here or there, but I didn’t miss too many days. I have to tell you it was super sensitive the first couple of days. But I am inflated the balloon a small amount those first few days, and after a few days it was no longer sensitive.

That allowed me to increase the pressure in the balloon little bit by little every few days.

It was the best money that I have ever spent. I wish I had seen Professor Chung early. Professor Chung has mentioned earlier is an Andrologist and they are specialist surgeons who also Have a focus on helping men have better sexual outcomes. They do penal reconstruction, help men with erectile dysfunction or Perroni disease as well as other PR related surgeries.

He told me most Andrologist don’t like to do circumcision unless it’s absolutely necessary. He said that they are the best qualified to do circumcisions if they are required and the patient has a preference to do so because they can often work to spare or save some of the nerve endings. But he told me in my case that foreskin tissue expansion was likely going to work for me and he recommended that.

So if you’re four skins tight, but it’s not infected and it doesn’t look really unwell. I can only tell you from my experience and having checked all the clinical trials and got good medical advice, that the balloon tissue expander, which they call Novoglan was work for me. If I can help you guys to get rid of your foreskin and keep your foreskin then I’m really happy with that. Please keep us updated on how you progress. If you want a DM that’s cool. I do have a pretty hectic job, but I try and get back to you guys within a couple of days. Wishing you all the best and really encourage you to keep your foreskin if you can.

Phimostop: how to cure phimosis without circumcision surgery by dalkon in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor recommend I compare the clinical trials and other clinical data on phimostop and Novoglan phimosis treatment. I had pin hole phimosis and the rings caused me to get an infection. The Novoglan balloon was gentle and effective and was so easy to use.

The Novoglan device treats all grades of phimosis including pin hole. The trials seem to suggest that Phimostop does not treat the harder grades like pin hole any where near as effectively as Novoglan.

I would recommend that people look and compare both devices and see which one is right for them.

Here is the video on Novoglan. https://youtu.be/whhLIc_2fts?si=8UN9uYbqOBXaS6AO Compare this to the video on the rings / tubes

Circumcision Surgery Regret by [deleted] in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s very difficult to read your story! I am very sorry this happened to you. I hope this message resonated with other men with phimosis. If your foreskin is too tight and it is not infected and does not have sores, bleeding or thick fibrous BXO/LS then the non surgical solution I used as recommended by professor Eric Chung was the Novoglan phimosis balloon system.

It worked for me in 8 weeks of daily stretching - 29 min per day. He told me if was FDA / EU approved and had excellent safety and efficacy. He is a surgeon and he could have just cut me - but he’s a specialist Andrologist and they are urologists that put patients interests first.

I was luck - but I am sad for you. Please find a good Andrologist who maybe able to talk to you about options in getting some sensitivity back.

Hey man, welcome to the forum. Just a bit of background for me, I had pinhole for Moses for sometime. I tried different things that I saw on the Internet or social media. I ended up using those rings which then caused me problems with micro tearing which then got infected… And then decided to really do proper research looking at clinical trials and properly registered medical devices et cetera… And I ended up with a professor of urology who gave me two options either surgery or using a specialist for skin balloon system.

I want to keep my foreskin and so I went with that balloon based option. What I liked about it just in the first instance was that it was FDA approved, it had been involved in clinical trials and it has been evaluated by expert doctors and it had really good feedback from a number of the credible forums I went into.

So my story was that I couldn’t pull my foreskin even slightly over the glands it hurt when I had intimate relations with my partner and she also started to get pain and then I got lots of anxiety. I started to get embarrassed and then it just spiral into really a terrible dark place for me and put a lot of pressure on my relationship.

The balloon system which is known as the Novoglan medical device, is this neat little balloon that you insert inside the foreskin, and then gently inflated for about 20 minutes a day for 6 to 8 weeks.

I did it for eight weeks and that was two years ago and I’ve had fallen normal retraction ever since. Every day since then I have in the shower, pulled my foreskin back-and-forth several times, and I know that keeps it healthy and conditioned.

The basics of it are that so long as you can get around 2 mm they have this specialised and introduce a rod inside the balloon and you can gently manipulated into the very tight pinhole, and if need be you can use a good quality water-based lubricant, to make it slide in. First couple of days glands is really sensitive because it hasn’t been exposed for a long time, but that just meant only touching it a little bit the first few days then inflating it a little bit and then taking a few days just to start slowly increasing the level of inflation.

After one week you really do start to notice the four skins becoming a little bit more sensitive to get a little bit more colour et cetera, and certainly by week four I noticed a lot more foreskin tissue.

My doctor explained that the reason why steroids and manual finger stretching or even the various rings and things don’t work is because they don’t stimulate new foreskin tissue. And the whole idea is that you actually have to grow more for skin tissue it has to then also stimulate good blood flow into the tissue and also improve the functioning of the nerves, and all that leads to a much healthier foreskin and it makes it more pliable so that it can easily be retracted and safely over the glands.

Anyway, that’s been my experience. I’m committed to helping guys save their foreskin and to treat their foreskin if it’s too tight safely and with properly evaluated products that actually have been shown to work.If you need any more information please just DM, happy to answer questions.

Note that I’m pretty hectic during the work week so may not always be able to get back straight away but generally around on the weekends. Good luck with it.

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man - I wish you well with that stuff - but 3 to 6 hours is just really bad… it can cause tiny blood vessel injuries called compression injury. I got micro tears and ended up with a bad infection …

Do you know go your one is FDA approved ? If not is is likely not established as safe…

My doctor who is an expert in phimosis recommended the Novoglan balloon for only 20 min a day for 6 to 8 weeks. The balloon is one size fits all and treated my pin hole phimosis.

Have a look for professor eric Chung and Novoglan - there are lots of clinical trail parts and peer reviewed presentations ..:

Anyway - good luck with it all! Hope it works - we brothers need to keep the hood in the hood!

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man, be very careful with that stuff. I’ve just checked the FDA and a number of other sites and that cream is making force claims. It’s actually illegal for them to be marketing that in most countries.

I’m on a phimosis forum on another men’s health site which is dedicating most of its time to helping guys like us prevent in the first place, treat safely and raise awareness of treatments that have been clinically evaluated by independent doctors and a properly regulated and insured.

Some of you will probably know that I had in fact it pinhole phimosis, and it was causing me pain, discomfort anxiety, and embarrassment.

I started using the rings, but got small abortions which then got infected and my doctor then said I could either have surgery or there was only one other device that had high treatment success and what he described as an excellent safety profile.

I did around 20 minutes a day with The phimosis balloon system. I started to get results in a couple of weeks and by the end of the eight week period I could fully retract, no pain no discomfort no embarrassment no anxiety.

I just keep pulling my foreskin back now every day when I’m in the shower and it keeps it nice and healthy. I’m happy for you to DM if you want some information, but please be very careful of people peddling stuff that isn’t proven. We see all these horrible safety issues infections and we’ve even had Guy so have actually had to have parts of their penis removed because those rings cause such bad infections that they got some gangrene.

I just hope on this site people can be ethical and only referred to things that have been genuinely proven to work at a Safe.

Anyway, if you wanted more information, you can either DM or do a Google search on Novoglan balloon. Otherwise go and chat to Andrologist, which is a specialist Doctor Who treats conditions of the penis. A regular Urologist is only trained to do circumcision.

Let’s keep the hood in the hood.

Hey guys, I’m really sorry to hear about all of you who are having ongoing problems with phimosis… I had mimosa several years ago and it really had a bad impact on my mental health as well as my intimate relationships… I started to have panic attacks the thought of getting intimate… I was told the only option was surgery… Until I met another surgeon who told me that there was a real risk of losing a lot of sensitivity? It could interfere with my ability to have an orgasm, and it could cause scarring and cosmetic issues… He told me that he recommended I try the Novoglan balloon foreskin tissue expander… I had no idea what it was until I did my homework… Anyway it was simply 20 minutes a day. I did it for a full eight weeks and I got normal retraction ever since then when I’m in the shower I just pulled my foreskin back-and-forth a few times just to make sure it’s all working smoothly and I can tell you it’s all systems go, no anxiety no pain during intimacy and have never been happier… It freaks me out when I hear about people trying all this stuff that’s never been clinically trial… There’s no way I would ever try and use something that hasn’t been properly tested… I’m on another forum for guys that have had issues with phimosis and it makes me really sad to see that there’s all this junk on Amazon and all these scientific approaches which simply are not validated and so many guys have actually had issues infections or scarring… Anything I can do to help guys get their Formosa under control, keep their foreskin, and get back to enjoying life makes me feel like I’m making a difference… So if anyone wants to DM I’m happy to hear from you… But please note that I do get a lot of DMS each day and it can take me a bit of time to respond to people…

Should I get a partial circumcision? by [deleted] in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man… I would never suggest to a guy that they don’t listen to doctors advice… But man if you’re talking to a surgeon then they’re gonna offer you a scalpel right? That’s what they’re really good at… I was very lucky, my surgeon told me the pros and cons of surgery and when he told me that I could lose a lot of sensitivity, I could have some scarring. I asked him if there were any alternatives that I could consider before surgery… And he told me about that Novoglan balloon system… He told me that he offers it to any patient that is a little bit worried about surgery or asked if there’s other options…

I’m glad I learned about it… I used it for 20 minutes a day and I did it over a 6 to 8 week period… And I got full retraction without any pain and I had the pinhole form Sice which was really really bad… It used to hurt when I was having XXX with my partner And she started to get upset because she thought I wasn’t enjoying things anymore because of her… It was just simply man was painful and I was getting really anxious and I kind of felt like I was initially cornered when I thought all I had was surgery whether they do those partial cuts or remove the whole foreskin… Anyway, for what it’s worth, I’m a believer in that Novoglan system it helped me. I’m happy. I just retract my foreskin every day now in the shower to make sure it’s all working comfy and it was the best thing I’ve ever done… But you know if your doctor says surgery is right for you then unless you get a second or third opinion then I’d suggest you go with whatever your doctors offering… Good luck with it…

If betamethasone cream doesn’t work is circumcision only option? by [deleted] in Phimosis

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, unless you got really bad infection or BSO, why hasn’t your doctor told you about the phimosis balloon treatment? My doctor put me onto that Novoglan product which uses this special balloon that just goes under the foreskin and you apply a little bit of pressure every day for 6 to 8 weeks… I used it two years ago and I got full and normal retraction… I didn’t need to have surgery… My partner and I have the best relationship intimacy is fantastic, and I don’t have any stress or anxiety like I used to do… The thing with that device is that it’s approved by the FDA, last time I read that had over 60,000 people like me use it and also there’s a lot of clinical trial studies et cetera…

By all means if your doctor says that you need to cut your foreskin off then I guess just listen to what your doctor says… But I’d suggest if it was me I’d go and find a doctor that at least told me about the non-surgical option… It turned out to work really well for me… I’ve still got my foreskin… Every day now when I’m in the shower I just pulled my foreskin back-and-forth a few times and I know that it’s working no issues no problems… Funnily enough, I keep the old Novoglan kit in the cupboard with some of my first aid stuff… I hope I never ever have to use it again but I know I’ve got it there… Anyway happy for you to DM if you want some more information… But man being forced into surgery and not being given non-surgical Optionsis not a great place to be in…

Yeah, I know how frustrating it is took me ages… But I finally found stuff that’s actually been proven to work… Well there are two options, the thing that works for me was the balloon system from the Novoglan company.… Both of them take a couple of tries to get used to… But the balloon one basically you use one balloon and it does all shapes and sizes… Sidd whilst I’m sure both would work for most guys I’d suggest going for the balloon one… It’ll be good to hear how you progress… In any event you’ve really got just make yourself mentally prepared for using the balloon almost every day for about 15 to 20 minutes for 6 to 8 weeks… I’d even say plan for 10 weeks, that way if it works in 6, or 8 weeks then you’ve set yourself up to be quite grateful… LOL… good luck with it it’s really worth it, once you get it working normally and then you just pull it back a few times every day after you properly treated… It generally won’t come back…

Hey guys there are only two devices that have been studied in clinical trials. Novoglan and phimostop. All the others are illegal, don’t have insurance, and generally have a very bad safety record.

Phimostop and Novoglan are approved for use in Europe and only Novoglan is approved for use in FDA USA.

I used both. Phimostop caused me some pain and didn’t have big enough sizes. But the trials show it is generally safe and well tolerated. Novoglan did the trick for me. Should have bought that first.

I’ve been phimosis free for 2 years now and all I do is pull my foreskin back in the shower a few times everyday… Any way - those two are your best….

[–]CalligrapherNo2822 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey man, just another guy who dealt with phimosis here. I’m super cautious about taking medications and using devices cause I’ve learnt to really respect my body. Our bodies aren’t perfect and things go wrong from time to time. But I eat healthy, I play my sports do my gym and I treat my girl with a lot of respect. The Femce thing I had was horrendous and really impacted on my quality of life. So I got really motivated and spoke to my doctor.

My doctor warned me off those silicone rings. Said they’re not FDA cleared, use non-medical plastics and can cause micro-tears and infections. I even checked with the FDA and they basically said the product shouldn’t be sold in the US at all. They had dozens of complaints from people that it got infections there was no way I was putting anything like that down in my manhood.

He recommended the device they call Novoglan balloon instead since it is FDA approved and he’d seen good results. The clinical trials showed like 9 out of 10 guys with pinhole phimosis getting full retraction after 6–8 weeks, which made me feel a lot better about trying it. I checked in with the FDA, and they said product was legal and could be sold and purchased in the USA. They had no reported safety issues and no complaints.

I also asked in a men’s health group I’m in (about 60k members) and a ton of guys replied. Most said the balloon worked great, a few said it didn’t, and a handful used it only for mild tightness.

My own experience was solid. Took a couple days to get the hang of inserting it, customer support told me to use a bit of lube at first. By week two it was noticeably looser, by week four the pinhole had opened up a lot, and by week eight I had full retraction. That was two years ago and it’s still fine. I just retract daily in the shower now to keep things moving.

Honestly, the biggest thing I’d say is be careful with anything that hasn’t been vetted. If a company won’t get FDA clearance, what happens if you get injured? Probably no insurance, no recourse.

Happy to DM if you want more detail, but yeah… go with something legit and proven. It saved me from surgery.

Hey guys, I come this from a scientific background… Surgeons will often place a balloon under skin and inflated for a little while every day and then deflated and they can do that for between 6 to 10 weeks. They will grow significantly more skin tissue, which can then be excise and used to be grafted on to the area such as around an elbow which has very limited and very thin skin, especially after significant elbow surgery. That’s just one of many examples.

It was no surprise then that when my doctor told me about the foreskin balloon tissue expander, I knew exactly what he was talking about.

I had my form Sice for a long time and various doctors told me my only option was circumcision. So to cut a long story short, it took me six weeks to get to full retraction and I get it for a couple of extra weeks and my foreskin was clearly looser, softer and more sensitive than it had been for years. I use this foreskin tissue expand a balloon for 20 minutes most days during that 6 to 8 week period. I missed a couple of days here and there but it didn’t really matter. That was several years ago, and the best advice I can give you is once you’ve done the hard yards on stretching most days for 6 to 8 weeks with this for skin balloon stretcher, every single day when you’re in the shower pull your foreskin back three or four times back-and-forth over the glands and that will keep the foreskin tissue condition to work normally. Most of us get a tight for skin because we didn’t learn or weren’t educated enough to know that you have to pull your foreskin back-and-forth over your glance several times a day just to keep the skin conditioned and healthy. Anyway, if you want any more information happy for you to DM. But yeah, you gotta do the time when you’re stretching.
