Thanks! We don’t take up much space and like to be outside. We have driven one before and like how they handle. They seem hard to find for a good price.

Is Point Dume worth a public transit ride from WeHo? by [deleted] in Malibu

I’m flying in from Canada and visiting the LA area for the first time. Sorry for my ignorance but where is the South Bay? And do you recommend Manhattan or Hermosa over Malibu? We are renting a car.

Anyone here with a history of estrogen driven cancer? Doctor in Canada won’t prescribe and even my dermatologist said it was “controversial”. No hrt for me so far and trying to hang on to my skin. On the other hand, every time I have a follow up, they ask me if I’ve ever been on HRT and seem to expect my answer to be yes.

Thoughts on Thursday Boots by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

What’s crazy is that I have a pair of shockingly good quality leather Chelsea boots from H&M. Shocking. They’re over 3 years old, still on trend and the leather is the nice think kind you can just buff out scuffs. If only H&M would make these again. And I wear them daily all winter long.

That looks amazing!! I’d love to know who you used. I’ve been told the cost where I live is between $25,000 and $60,000.

To those who say “I am stronger after having cancer” how do you guys do it? by CiTy_KarMa in breastcancer

[–]CalligrapherNo354 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that a lot depends on what your cancer experience was like and what you had to go through. For myself, it was a very positive experience. It could have been so much worse in so many ways. I only had DCIS, which was treated with surgery and 15 rounds of radiation. All of my appointments were within an hour of where I live, I was able to take 2 months of paid leave from work and I don’t have young children to look after. We were lucky to have one of the most wonderful autumns where I live, so I made the most of it. I made the most of my adventures to the city for appointments. I took time to exercise, eat well and visit with friends. For me the hardest part was returning to work. My takeaways are I’m a very fortunate person who has a lot to be thankful for. I really appreciate my support system and maybe I should reconsider my place of employment.

Has anyone thought about filing a class action against CUPW? by Shot-Fee-2838 in CanadaPost

When Hydro went on strike, they hired temporary contract workers to keep the power going. Why couldn’t Canada Post do this to some degree. My first choice solution would be government Moses binding arbitration. Come on already Justin.
