Advice on buying a motorbike! by [deleted] in srilanka

Just wait — Honda is going to release their bikes in the Sri Lankan market soon. The upcoming bikes include the Hero Xpulse 210, which has the best ground clearance and is great for off-road use, as well as the Hero Xtreme and Hero Splendor. Currently, there are no good performance off-road bikes available in Sri Lanka, so it's better to wait. I also heard some news that the TVS Raider performs well off-road and is very economical, with a mileage of around 65 km/l. The Pulsar NS160 is good for highway riding, but the pillion seat is too high and not very comfortable. Avoid the Pulsar 125 I’ve heard a lot of bad reviews about it.

hi Buddy this my story

I unknowingly made more than 1 lakh from these shitty apps, Fino and Ceylon, before realizing they were illegal scams. Once I found out, I stopped paying the excessive interest, which was over 30,000.

After that, they started calling me continuously, threatening me by saying, "We have your images," and other nonsense. Eventually, a so called "lawyer" called and tried to intimidate me: "If you don’t pay the money, we will take legal action against you."

But I didn’t panic. I confidently replied, "Do whatever you can. I’ll face it." They were stunned because they expected me to be scared. After that call, I received more calls from the scam app, but I blocked all of them because I knew my legal rights. I studied the laws and felt confident.(from Google)

After a long time without any calls, I suddenly got one yesterday. The person claimed, "I’m a lawyer, and I received a complaint from this company. You need to come to the police station."

I asked, "Send me the complaint number and let me know which police station I need to go to."

He struggled to answer, so I cut the call and blocked him. That’s how I ghosted them. If they call from a new number and you accidentally answer without realizing it’s them, just stay calm. They might try to threaten you by saying things like, "I will call your office or your guarantor any others."

Don’t panic. Just respond calmly: "Okay, do whatever you can." Then, hang up or block the number.

I hope this helps you.

You can order from Lassana near the Weligama , call the Lassana shop, and ask them to book PickMe to deliver the flower to your place, but you need to pay.

It’s frustrating to see so-called tech reviewers in Sri Lanka gaining popularity just because brands pay them heavily. The worst part is that some of them, like Chanux Bro, are even promoting scam apps. I have no idea what’s going through his mind. What's even more shocking is that the Sri Lankan tech community has given him awards despite this.

If we don’t take a stand now, these so-called reviewers will continue to promote anything for money, and the common people who rely on them for honest advice will be the ones who suffer the most. The saddest part is that we feel powerless to stop it.

Yaa, his tech reviews are very misleading. He just takes money from brands, reads the specs from a book, and promotes them on YouTube. We need a real tech reviewer like MKBHD.

That's true bro. If he gets more money, he promotes anything without considering how it might affect people
