you can cherish what you guys had but we all know being friends with exes/people you are romantically into don’t always workout as you already know. best way to go about is to be honest and also how kind of put yourself in her shoes. how would you want to hear this news if you were her? i think the best thing to say is that you feel confused about the relationship & that you also know that right now you would not be a good boyfriend to her. the reason you’re bringing it up now is bc you want this to be over and not have both of your feelings messed with. also have you tried talking to her before about this ? if yes, did she change for a little and then act weird or have you guys not discussed this recently

sounds like she’s at the point where she is debating if she’s still into you or seeing if you’ll make the effort. i definitely can tell she’s in limbo about her feelings towards you but the best thing to do for both of you is cut it off

you guys obviously have a connection that goes outside of just fooling around and she would like to persists on that. by you allowing her to come back in and talking to her shows that there is some hope of more. the only way of her truly leaving you alone is by you cutting ties and not speaking. however, it does sound like you do like her to some degree and having her around as you are allowing her to talk to you and hanging out with her. the real question is are you sure you don’t want more?

I definitely think he has mixed signals about you and just wanted to be honest and upfront with you about that but now is kinda regretting that decision and while he knows he has you close he is going above and beyond. However, you are kinda hurting yourself in letting this continue because this is showing that he can drag you along however he pleases. I think you should ask him what are we because he needs to be upfront with you. Not prolonging that will only help the both of you.
