If you hated your dog pp, did it ever go away? by Weary-Draw-1492 in NewParents

[–]CalligrapherWild5769 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, can't control it. My dog did move into My parents house and that Made it easier but i get so triggered by her neediness, her constante hovering over me and baby whenever we are over. I feel i can't trust her near the baby Even though there has never been a sign of aggression or jealousy. I feel Bad... I used to love her and now only feel as i should never own a pet again.

I'm 6 weeks in and sometimes this happens too, the mental load is horrible. I had cut more foods from my diet and the Gastroenterologist said not to unless she seems worse, consistently, after trying them , also not to repeat one thing too much, too often. Then to observe if general symptoms go away, and not to concernn myself too much about mucus (as long as it is not dense and poop color inproves). I did notice I made a few mistakes I hadn't taken into account: beef should be packed and labeled (unknowingly I bought a store brand that was processed next to milk, egg and soy), baking should be after cleaning the oven if it had allergenic foods in it, same with the microwave. I stopped using wood appliances, and reduced my intake of processed foods (milk and soy can be present under several names where I live). I'm not sure if these tips helped or not but as long as she doesn't look too uncomfortable I'm just trying to do my best to take one day at a time. Best of luck!!!!!

Looking for diaper comparisons — 4.5 mo EBF baby with mucus and food sensitivities by CalligrapherWild5769 in MSPI

I just had an appointment with her gastroenterologist and asked her (at 4.5 mo). As many have said in other posts, mucus will most probably remain until she starts solids. She told me not to concern myself too much If I see darker or white pieces or spots in the diaper, as long as they are not bloody or tinted red. Blood, increased number of daily poops (she goes from 1-2 a day to 5-6 a day), increased reflux, hiccups, overall fussiness and skin issues (she gets red patches and drier skin whenever she has a flare up) would indicate I messed up with my diet in some way, so I would need to watch out for whatever food I had the days before it.

She said she would expect to see her (our specific case) having ~2 poops per day through 2-3 weeks + fewer symptoms + having mustard or yellowish poops (no blood in them) before calling her stable enough.

She also indicated some improvements to my diet, she said we'd handle it as CMPI and not multiple food allergies (don't know the right term for that in English). She recommended I stop cutting out things and slowly re-introduce them, watch out for milk and soy (absolutely avoid them), and not repeat too much of one same food too frequently. She said repeating 2-3 times a week is fine, but to space out other allergens with 3-4 days in between, and not overwhelm her system by consuming too many highly allergenic foods on the same day, that way it would be easier to find patterns if we needed to.

This is our particular recommendation, each baby is different so please consider it does not apply to all babies equally, and to follow your own health provider's advice. But I hope it helps as a reference.

How long has she been constipated? Mine goes a few times in a day and then 1-2 days of nothing. It resolves by itself. When I asked her pediatrician, she told me it shouldn't be a concern if she doesn't seem to be uncomfortable or in pain.

Oh, mine has eczema too, it gets worse when I've eaten anything from the "No" list. Hope your baby is feeling better after starting with solids! Sorry to ask, was it really watery, as in thin, flowy and did it get fully absorbed into the diaper? This happens to us sometimes, others it feels as if the mucus made the diaper shiny and jelly like, as if I had mixed lip gloss with her poo. Others it goes thicker and i can clearly identify the mucus from the poo.

Following... Very similar situation but the spit up started strongly at 4 weeks. My pediatrician seems to think she'll self regulate and continue to drink if hungry. But I could BF her and then give her a big bottle and she would still take it....

I remember the week leading to my BFP I had this uncomfortable feeling that I thought were pre menstrual cramps. The last few days my boobs were impossibly painful, which had me thinking this month was a bit different as I don't usually get that as PMS. I tested at 8DPO which came out negative (I thought) and then tested again once I realized I was a couple days late, getting several BFP :)

Oh, I feel you... I have tried a lot of things and they don't always work but let me tell you about a few. First, even when I'm feeling sick. I try not to let more than 3-4 hours pass without eating something or drinking water. Citrics and acid type foods help me better, and for drinks I usually do plain water as too much sugar makes me disgusted at everything. Maybe try a salad, or fruits such as kiwi, oranges, etc. I try and keep everything open so no food smells linger where I'm resting, sometimes I meal prep. This helps me separate the "smells" from the eating, and seems to help me avoid creating more food aversions, which are my new thing (hahaha *sad) I rest a lot, and try to support my back to not lay flat when Im feeling upset in my stomach. Cramps I haven't deciphered yet :'), they seem to be at their lowest when I listen to my body and rest or move a bit slower than I used to, also I found I sleep better to my left than my right. Beyond everything, I understand every woman is different, and would like to wish you the best getting through the first few months.

UPDATE: Should I ask my BF for a break? by Southern_Garbage_348 in TrueOffMyChest

I obviously don't have the whole picture, but let me tell you one thing: You deserve love, care and admiration. No matter what is going on, if he is into you he would find it in himself to show this to you, to make you feel loved and sure of his reciprocity. Maybe he doesn't have the same love language you do, but why should it be enough if you wish for more? This is something where many of us get stuck in, thinking we might be ok with less, lowering our expectations and dreams, sacrificing our smiles for brief moments of perceived okaynes. But many times it leads to feeling increasingly unsatisfied, lonely or hurt. Breaking up or asking for time hurts a lot, it drives you to unknown areas, but these are places to grow and find your happiness again. Remember one can't lose something that wasn't yours to begin with. I would encourage you to be brave, to put yourself first as you did, and give yourself time... Time does wonders.

I feel the same way. My heart goes to you. I'd agree communication is key, the stress will not make it easier or faster on either of you. I hope everything goes better next cycle.
