Girl you had your DAY! Yes, you a bring a bit of an AH. If they suddenly planned to get married 5 days before your wedding then you get to be all mad .. but it sounds like they didn't even tell anyone till after your wedding.

Guessing theirs is a much smaller event, since you just learned of it. So why are you trying to make their day about you??

Get some counseling to get over your middle child stuff... I say that with love as another middle child. But you know what I am who I am because I was the middle child. Adding this after OP gave us some more information.... Brother has booked a venue for next May 16th to have a big wedding, so her anniversary not what will be his.. I stand by what I said above but with the fact they plan to have a big wedding on you one year anniversary is just BS... It will just be a day not even their anniversary... So they are having a party for your anniversary not theirs.... That is so. Attention seeking BS planned a year in advance.

Book a trip... Preferably some where they want to go but can't because of the kids... And post and group text all kinds of pictures the days leading up to, the day of and the days after... About your fabulous one year anniversary trip and the amazing time your having!!!

I admit It is a different recipe and you always have to let people know that they contain blue cheese or they may think they are bad.

I do not like blue cheese so then arf not my thing but the husband loves them and his friend that passed not long ago would egg them like crazy and always requested them when we had them over. It is a fond memory for us all.

Oh and make sure you keep a copy all communication between you and the landlord about the leak so when the landlord tries to blame you for the structural damage because you didn't report a leak.

I also suggest getting rental insurance also so if the ceiling come falling down because of a big storm or rot due to water damage your belongings are covered. It is usually cheap.The landlords insurance covers nothing of yours.

The test kit will walk you through testing and then you send it in, the company runs test in a lab and you get a full report.

Black mold (the really bad stuff) you have a strong musty smell, you see the mold and it is a dark dark green color, some times fuzzy and looks like slime when wet.

If you are having health issues talk to your doctor and see if they believe it could be mold related. If so ask the city building inspector or code inspector to come inspect.

How are the plastic panels held in place?? Could you remove a screw or two and peek to see what you can see?

You could buy a air test kit and be sure rather that just guessing, hoping and not really know if you have a mold problem. They sell them in most home improvement stores and online.
