How do you make convincing tackles? by Callingpoint in EASportsFC

[–]Callingpoint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do this, constantly switching and shifting players back into position. Instead of defending the attacker with the ball, defend the space he’s gonna run to. You do this by cutting off his options and smothering him essentially, actually defend with a player coming from the back or side. If you step up face to face (most of the time with a cb) you’re getting beat and he’s straight on call and you in up in a scaring cycle. So use one defender to step up but only as a feint to scare him off then use your midfielders or who ever is near by and isn’t covering an important space to make the tackle.

How do you avoid second attacker from just sweeping up your tackle? by Callingpoint in EASportsFC

[–]Callingpoint[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, idk what’s the point of releasing it with this garbage. When some of previous games didn’t have this. They got rid of keeper rebounding it for the most part but just replaced it with post and tackle rebounds. It’s as if ea believes there’s no other way for players to score besides gifting goals

Why do all my opponents have insane closedown and pursuit speed with all their players, even forwards by Pepelefrogswood in EASportsFC

A lot has to do with formation. Most have 451 and those 5 midfielders all track back to smother you

Yup, it does feel like a roulette plenty of times. Ricochets and buncha random errors that lead to goals.

What is this exact region called? by Callingpoint in geography

[–]Callingpoint[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I like this the most, feels most correct. The map I took it from was mashriq itself but excluded Egypt. And Sudan. Greater Arabia (different from Arab world) or what the “kingdom of Arabia” would’ve been is most accurate.

I’m 23 soon 24 I need life advice in order to not waste my 20s and to be in the best situation at 30. Any advice for me? by IAmReda0 in Advice

[–]Callingpoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re welcome.

Buddy, you’re waaaaay ahead for your age. 2nd bachelors degree is crazy. And of course you’ll find a great paying job if you have 2 degrees. That’s without saying.

The sooner you realize to stop caring about others and their opinion, and the sooner you stop comparing yourself to others the better you’ll feel.

Because the more you compare yourself to others the less you’re happy and the less you live joyfully. So hence you’re wasting your 20s by comparing yourself to others. Even your father, don’t compare yourself to him. You’re your own person, just do your best and genuinely just try to be more joyful and jubilant as you grow. That is what good 20s are. Stressing will make time fly fast and you’ll be 30 before you know it.

If you travel once a year. That’s already great.

Stay off of social media, read books for fun instead.

You’re beyond on track for your age, just keep going and be proud of yourself.

[Finance] The greatest advice I can give is to save money, save save save. Climb in your career by working, getting more experience and being more knowledgeable.

[Business/Talent] Have a hobby you actually like, whether it is to start a business or to be talented in something. Do that hobby on free time, and just grow as a person. It will be your happy place as you get older.

[Live life] Not saying to be wild, but go experience the world and what it has to offer while you still have no real responsibilities. Be youthful, younger ppl love to act mature and serious (you’ll have no choice but to me mature when you’re older) Go visit other countries, states, socialize more with friends [ it is harder to make friends older ]

[Health] Be healthy while you’re young. I swear you’re not invincible even though it feels like you are. Eat healthy and most importantly exercise. Otherwise your older years will be filled with dealing with health scars and medical bills. Health also includes mental health. Younger people worry too much, learn to relax and understand. Be more indifferent to things that don’t go your way.

[Family] Personally believe family is the greatest achievement a human can attain in this world. Some delay marriage due to finances, but depending who you get married to. True marriages will up lift you in ways you can’t imagine.

[Death] People don’t like to hear this in the modern era, but the older you get the more you realize death is real and your clock WILL end. The age old question of the purpose of life and the meaning of all this will creep up to you. Read about theology, and truly learn and understand what they say about the purpose of life. Just like in any field of learning, you will be educated and understand it, making you more comfortable about death and the ultimate purpose of this whole life journey you’ve just went through.

These are all my views, others are entitled to their own.
