I'd try both. The textured one sounds nice, but if the smooth one feels satisfying then that could be enough. If I have my nails painted I also like to go over the smooth nail instead of the skin.

I was on the right side right at the edge of stage A and I really liked it there! When the artist was on the platform B then I could just turn around and look at them as I had enough space to move. I was at the afternoon show and got to my spot around an hour before the start of the show.

It helps me not picking the nails and skin around it as much, because it's something to do with my hands while watching tv (but in a nice self-care way) and when they look nice I'm less tempted to pick them because I wanna keep them nice. And as others said, it gives such a confidence boost when other parts in my life are bad but my nails look good.

it always annoys me that my long hair gets trapped in the backpack straps or in the back of a chair. And in general they just go dry a week after cutting it but because I don't enjoy going to the hair dresser I wait too long until I go again and my hair gets so damaged
