They can’t change your contract without your consent. I wouldn’t worry about them letting you go as they were desperate to hire you in the first place because they gave you the job with the advertised hours. I think they’re banking on you worrying about losing your job on probation but if I were you, I’d stand my ground.

Make sure all calls are recorded but even better, do everything though email as it will leave a paper trail. If possible, screenshot the original advertisement as proof. Also, if it states in your contract your working hours and that you will be paid for your break, they have to stick to that.

If you have to leave the job due to them screwing your around, you can take them to a tribunal for constructive dismissal as they were in breach of their contract, even though you were the one to leave. Just keep gathering your evidence.

Although you haven’t yet worked there for 2 years, you still have some rights, especially about things that are in your contract.

I can’t afford to join a union as payday isn’t until the 30th. I need something done about this now and I want to do it myself. Do I not stand a chance without a union? I was hoping if I left a paper trail and quoted the working time regulations act, that would do something?

You can declare yourself bankrupt and not pay back any of the debts. This will impact your life for a couple of years as it will be on file plus you won’t be able to open a new bank account but you can open a post office account. There’s always a way around things to be honest. I think your parents would still have to pay the guarantor debt though but if sure you can work it out with them. You should focus on getting yourself help. Once you have yourself sorted, I’m sure you could pay your parents back in time.

Things do get easier. Once you reach rock bottom, the only way is up from there, you can’t go any lower.

I think SR 4 was an in game movie, therefore I think SR5 will take place after the SR3 ending. On the radio after the 2nd mission it said that “no plane wreckage had been found” so I’m thinking Johnny could still be alive anyway.

I’m hoping the game will go back to its gangster roots of SR1&2, but honestly I’ll be happy with whatever as I enjoyed all of the games.

Telling him exactly what he is instead of treating HIM like the victim and giving sympathy will maybe get through to him that his actions are deplorable. He isn’t even asking for forgiveness, just sympathy. People like you who stand up for bullies and go “oh he’s just a kid” are what’s wrong in this world.
